Property Ratings at Heritage at Stone Mountain
I honestly love it here, I plan on releasing as many times as possible. It's so comfortable and nice staff is absolutely wonderful, so happy to be here
Great amenities, excellent space, friendly staff, fun events. The only thing that keeps the stars low is maintenence time frame violates SB24-094. Many issues take months to get fixed violating this law.
Staff made process of application really easy. Very attentive to applicant needs and meet them. Lastly, they also ha e great apartment readiness for those who are moving in.

Our staff is always happy to help! Thank you for letting us know how much you appreciate their assistance with your application and move in-in process. It is our pleasure to help you settle in and feel right at home. Thank you for your wonderful review and 5-stars!
Ana, Derek, Matt and Rob are all friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I think they have limited resources and little support from the property management company, Priderock. This place has so much potential but hands are tied.

Great people to work with and I like the community events that are happening. The only rough thing is the parking and people coming in through the exit gate
Property Manager at Heritage at Stone Mountain, Responded To This Review

Heritages has been the best place I’ve lived in a long time. The staff is great and it’s perfectly located with reasonable prices. I absolutely love it

We love hearing that you love this community! Thank you for letting us know that you've had a great experience with our staff and that you are happy with the prices and location. It really makes our day to hear such wonderful feedback from our residents! - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
The ownership has changed countless times over the years. This ownership decided to cut the budget but maintain the high rent. Dog crap everywhere. Garbage everywhere. The hallways are stained with garbage. Front gate sometimes works. They let the pool get green and good luck if you have a maintenance issue. I beg you to listen to this review and find somewhere else to live. Park is nice across the street and the recreational center next door is great.
Property Manager at Heritage at Stone Mountain, Responded To This Review
Hello- We value your feedback and are sorry to hear that you feel our team has missed the mark in providing you with great service and a nice community. We will absolutely follow up with the staff and address your concerns and always welcome you to check in with our manager. We can assure you that we want you to have a great place to call home and do hope we can turn your experience into a positive one. - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
Great community but parking and driveway need lots of work. Holes in driveways are ridiculous and with winter coming it’s just going to get worse
Property Manager at Heritage at Stone Mountain, Responded To This Review
We appreciate your patience with the driveway. We are working on a plan to address that and do apologize for the inconvenience. If you ever have questions about what's going on around the property or if you have concerns, don't hesitate to chat with our manager or anyone on staff. We're always happy to help! - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
I went to have ice cream in office and had a great time meeting others. The staff workers are so helpful and asked me how things are going and made me feel welcomed
Feel uncomfortable living here. Lots of people not fallowing rules but always get talked too and only used pool twice. But all kinds of people that don't live here using pool. Hot tub never works. Was hoping to not move again but don't want to be here anymore. Parking lot is horrible. Maintenance staff great and friendly but 3 days to AC fixed.
We love living at Heritage! The grounds are always well kept during summer and wintertime and the maintenance staff is always helpful. Sometimes I wish the gym was upkept a little better, there is a good variety of things to use but it is often dirty and the machines will be out of order.
It started off great then the front office went to crap. I do enjoy the neighbors though. The only thing I will miss about living Here are the neighbors.
I wish I could be more positive about my experience. Truth is, they need more maintenance people in order to keep up with residents issues on a more timely manner. We can only use the gym during office hours and I work thise same hours. No communication when the pool is closed. You just show up and find out you can't use it. Property needs new paint/powerwashing and the parking lot is one giant pothole
Basic apartments, good amenities, maintenance was needed right away. Pool was closed for a few days. Definitely not luxury apartments but not drug central either.

Hello, We're glad to see you enjoying the community. We apologize for any innocence due to pool cleaning but always want to ensure the safety of our residents. We're here for you should there be anything we can help with. Thank you. - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
I have lived here for four weeks and moved in with many things not working properly, the appearance of my unit at move in was disappointing. Especially considering the amount of rent we pay to live here. I’ve been in the leasing off every week since moving in with no time frame or answers to when things will get fixed.
Property Manager at Heritage at Stone Mountain, Responded To This Review
Hello, First and foremost, thank you for calling our community home! We're very sorry to read about your recent experience moving in. We would like to reach out to you directly but are unable to do so because your review anonymous. We apologize you've not received information from our office about the issues you've reported. Please contact our community manager directly so that we can prioritize making these improvements for you. Thank you. - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
Everyone is friendly, maintenance and office is very nice. I've been to the pool a few times but there have been more times than I expected that the pool was closed due to cleaning. Some would complain but I think it's great that they keep it clean since it's always so busy
Property Manager at Heritage at Stone Mountain, Responded To This Review
Hello, Thank you for your nice review about our staff. We're sorry if you've been inconvenienced by our pool cleaning schedule. It's critical that we adhere so that our pool is never down for any long periods of time. We hope you keep enjoying it and the community overall. - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
The ladies in the office are absolutely amazing and sweet, but this property is absolutely horrible. Fees for maintenance and you don't get maintenance when you need it. I had a mail key break. The mail box was broken when I moved in and broke my key. It took almost 3 weeks to get in my mail!!!! I had bills late because my new debit card was in the mail box. Took 4 months to get my dishwasher fixed that was broke when I moved in. But yet I pay good money for a working dishwasher, per my lease. Yet maintenance can play with dogs and stand in front of the garage for hours talking. Good luck on your guest or yourself finding parking at night, to many broke down cars taking up spaces in FRONT of the buildings and all over the complex. The pot holes wil damage your car if you hit them they are that bad. Trash service that doesn't get your trash fun the door and trash cans always full. $40 bucks in fees a month for that. Ohhh and the dog poop people leave at there's doors you for you smell and walk by for weeks and weeks. Don't walk around the complex you, you will also step in dog poop. Its literally all over the complex. This is clearly a cash grab kinda apt complex. Don't live here!!!!
Property Manager at Heritage at Stone Mountain, Responded To This Review
We are so sorry that you've had to deal with these challenges, Megan. Our staff wants you to have a great experience and we can see that we have missed the mark. In many cases, we do have delays with the mail box because we rely on assistance from the postal service. We would be happy to speak with you about any vehicles on the property that you feel are violating our parking policies. We do our best to keep an eye on things, but always welcome the feedback from our valued residents. Please do check in with our office staff and management so that we can work with you to turn things around. Thank you. - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
The only concerns are that the pool often has algae in it making it unsuitable for swimming, even though some people still go in. The availability of the pool over the last year or two has gotten much worse than when I first arrived. My second concern is that maintenance repairs are less timely than my first few years at Stone Mountain.
Property Manager at Heritage at Stone Mountain, Responded To This Review
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. Our team continues to work diligently to provide an exceptional experience for our residents. We apologize for any inconvenience that you've encountered while we make improvements to our community. Should you have any outstanding concerns, please contact our community manager at your earliest opportunity. Thank you. - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
One of the best places I have ever lived. Excellent amenities, clean community, friendly staff, affordable, and spacious apartments. Even the community events are fun. Right next to a park and a lake. Plus the Boondocks Funplex. Only down side is maintenence is extremely slow getting to work orders unless they are emergencies.
Property Manager at Heritage at Stone Mountain, Responded To This Review
Thank you for complimenting our community and staff. We appreciate the nice feedback! We do, however, apologize if our maintenance services missed the mark in any way. We are working to improve our response time and appreciate you being patient. If you ever have an urgent issue or need the help of our office staff, don't hesitate to let us know. We're here to help and make sure you have a stellar experience! - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
Poor response history from office, lines for parking and handicap are non-existent and handicap parking isn't enforced so people park wherever they want. People with reserved spots for disability have to park somewhere else because someone else parked in it since nothing is enforced. Poor noise insulation, structurally building is noisy as well. When you need something fixed it doesn't truly get fixed right the first time, no notes are left to say that anyone even came to fix anything. Always told that there is something more important going on so your predicament gets ignored, even though it has to do with things in the apartment you pay for to use (fridge, dishwasher, etc.) and therefore needs to be fixed. Trash valet picks and chooses what they want to take and leaves notes saying they couldn't take your trash for "X" reason even though it's not true and the trash could have been taken. Also, when we first moved in, the apartment hadn't even been cleaned and we had to call the office to get cleaners to come clean it. The cleaning ladies said the office didn't even tell them. The buildings are super cheaply built, you can here every single footstep stomping up the stairs outside of your place, shaking the walls and everything hanging on them. You can hear your upstairs neighbors walking around and if they are heavy-footed you're going to be driven crazy. Please just save yourself the nightmare and look for something better. I don't care if the office tries to act like they wanna fix things now that I've left a review, you should have taken care of things months ago.

Hello, Thank you for sharing this feedback. We're devastated by the experience you've described as a resident of our community. Under these circumstances we would normally reach out to you directly so that we could work together to make immediate improvements for you. Unfortunately, your review is anonymous and we're unable to do so. It's always our goal to provide a great home for all of our residents and a beautiful and safe community to call home. We're very sorry that we missed the mark and did not meet your expectations. We would like an opportunity to speak with you and listen to your concerns. We're confident that together we can improve your experience and overall opinion of our community and services. We hope that you will reach out to our community manager directly at your earliest convenience. Thank you. - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
The staff here are super friendly, but it takes forever to get things fixed in your home. When we moved in, we were promised a fully renovated apartment with all new appliances, but the apartment was filthy and unclean. We had to clean the apartment ourselves and most of the appliances are super old and don't work well. After several months of asking, they have fixed a few things and replaced one appliance. We are still waiting for more. As far as the complex, the parking is an absolute nightmare. There are broken down cars everywhere taking up spots. If you do not have a reserved spot, you have to park several buildings away. I feel as if some residents have several cars and store them, taking up spots. Security at night is an absolute joke, as they refuse to do anything. If you need to call them, they continually say that is not their job. We have homeless people that come and go constantly stealing packages. Someone has been breaking in to mailboxes and stealing the mail. You don't get what you pay for at all!!!

Hello Valarie, We appreciate you taking the time to share some of the concerns you have as a member of our community. We are sorry your experience has been anything but spectacular and would like the opportunity to work with you to provide you an improved experience. We understand we've not met all your expectations but we're hopeful that we can continue to make the necessary improvements and provide you a wonderful place to call home. We know that your time is important but hope that you can find the time to reach out to our community manager at your earliest opportunity. We want to be sure we understand what specific concerns remain so that we can work together on a resolution plan. Thank you. - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
You think your parking lot has potholes? Come drive around this place. No cameras, no working gates. My car was stolen and they charge me 300 over our rent bc of "common charges" that started at roughly 100 and in a year has trippled. This place is more of a racket than most, which is saying something in the Denver Metro
Property Manager at Heritage at Stone Mountain, Responded To This Review
We are very sorry to hear about your concerns. We would be happy to speak with you and discuss these issues in more detail. Additionally, our manager or anyone on our staff can take a few minutes and discuss the questions you have about the common charges. We want to ensure we clear up any confusion and help you have a better experience here in our community. Thank you. - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Team
Always professional, it’s safe and quiet and well-kept. All staff are wonderful and I couldn’t be happier here. Definitely recommend living here.

Hi Mary, Thanks for your wonderful review and five-star rating! We're happy when we hear that residents would recommend our community to their friends. Thank you for being a long term resident. - The Heritage at Stone Mountain Apartments Team
I can't speak for every apartment on the complex but our apartment is just awful. After a year here we have had to put in so many maintenance requests from our dishwasher leaking the first day we ever used it, to our garage (which we use as storage) being broken and having a bunch of our stuff stolen out of it, and a fun instance where we had to put in a maintenance call once a week for three weeks because the maintenance guys couldn't figure it out, and a widespread ac outage across the complex that the maintenance guys just could not figure out. On top of that, parking can only be classified as cancerous. Both the constantly broken front gate and the guest parking don't make it easy to find a reasonable parking space. Also beware that the dumpsters are on the back corner of the complex making trash runs more frustrating. these apartments offer a "valet trash service where they pick up a bag a night from sun-thurs but they don't allow overflow trash so if your household produces more than a single bag of trash every day or two, or if you just have packages with large boxes, you'll still find yourself making the trek to the dumpsters. The layout of the two bed is the only benefit of these apartments. Having the living room between the bedrooms adds a lot more privacy, we will be moving when our lease is up however.
Property Manager at Heritage at Stone Mountain, Responded To This Review
Due to the nature of your concerns, we feel it would be best if we spoke to you directly about your experience. We hope to learn more about these claims. Thanks.
Our family can't imagine living anywhere else! The property and homes are beautiful and location is perfect. The cost of rent and fees is a good value that comes without any problems. My kids like it here and our dog loves the freedom. There are lots of amenities and the staff is friendly. We've lived in two other places in this area and Stone Mountain is definitely the best. We're not going anywhere!

Black Mold in TWO different apartments. See attached pictures To explain a long story briefly, I moved into Stone Mountain in January. Since my two boys and I have lived in these apartments we have had respiratory issues worse than we ever had before. I started to notice a musty smell while living in these apartment, especially in the master bedroom. Then black mold started appearing on the walls, near the floor board and window sills. The maintenance team wiped it off and called it resolved. After finding black mold in both bedrooms and closet, I requested to transfer apartments. The leasing manager, Susie told me that I could transfer but would have to pay all the fees involved because the mold was "resolved". I had to fight for 5 days until finally her manager Kristy, (who was very nice) allowed me to transfer apartments without cost. The company would not help me with moving expenses although it was the black mold that was causing me to leave. I am a single mother of two boys, (one with asthma) without any help and lower income. So hiring movers was really hard for me financially. I ended up paying Moving Brothers to move me to a third story apartment for $400.00. Once I moved into the third floor apartment I discovered more black mold under the floor boards. By this point, I had already been living with my mom half of June and it has been a NIGHTMARE for me! I showed the owner of the property and one of the higher property managers and they basically said they will let me out of the lease but will not help with moving expenses or ANYTHING! In fact, I didn't even get an apology for all of the stress this has caused me as a single parent, working AND going to school full time. When I was upset, explaining the stress I have been through and telling them what I would like to settle, they laughed at me. This has been such a burden on my boys and I. I have been going to work in tears because of not having a place where I feel safe to live. I am moving out as soon as possible. My experience here has been HORRID.

I love my apartment. The largest two bedroom two bath is very convenient for my boyfriend, roommate, and I. Weve lived here for over a year and love the convenience of being near i-25 and webster lake!

Hello, Thank you very much for your 4 star review!
I really like my one bedroom, one bath apartment. It has a nice view, a nice pool, and it is pet friendly. There are a lot of dogs in the complex. Which is nice if you have a friendly, social dog. Some of the other residents can be loud, but it doesn't happen all the time. Being close to the interstate is a plus and a minus, because of the noise. It is convenient. The work out room and the hot tub are nice as well. There is new management from when I first moved in, and they have been great so far. The price did increase after the first year, but it has been great for what I needed. If that continues I may have to rent elsewhere. It was also nice to be able to see the apartment I was going to rent. So I knew I was getting what I wanted.

Hello, Thank you very much for your 4 star review!
Stone Mountain is a very good apartment complex. They have a hot tub opened all year, outside BBQ, pool table inside the club house, ping pong table in the pool area. A lot of fun activities around the area too. The only bad thing about these apartments is the price is a bit high.. other than that, everything is great! Maintenance is very helpful, neighbors are really friendly, staff is very helpful and nice!

Hello, Thank you very much for your 5 star review!
It is quiet with a quick walk to the swimming pool. Appliances are in great shape and maintenance team is awesome and they come the same day. The area is nice, there is a beautiful lake and park a few blocks down the street where there are festivals and places to have parties. The whole area is well kept and beautiful to look at. There are numerous restaurants very close and shopping for groceries is a breeze. The cost of the apartment is relative to the entire Denver Metro area and it is large for a one bedroom at 853 square feet. It allows pets so I get the great company of my Cocker Spaniel, Patch. All in all this is a wonderful place to live and I would recommend to anyone with or without kids. Thank you for listening and have a great day.
