I've been living there for six years, and it's the dirtiest place on earth now. Other than that the place is not clean and there is no maintenance. There in the office they talk inappropriately. With residents, but if you are new. You will see their best after you live. You will see their real face. They only think of taking money from residents but there is no service at all. My advice to everyone is to come new. Don't live here. I live here 6 Years in this residence and this is my last year here. Management has recently changed. The worst management ever. They do not care about anyone. The disgusting way they deal with residents. Insects everywhere, the wood is broken and has insects inside. Some of the devices are not working and when I talk to them they talk inappropriately and say they will send someone to fix everything. Seven months and still no one has come

We have been living here for three years. The first two years were peaceful, but when the management changed, the neighborhood became unsafe. They are not checking people's backgrounds before giving them apartments. This whole year has been really hard for us due to our bad neighbors living on the ground floor of our building. They are disrupting the peace, throwing trash at our doorstep for no reason, and harassing us every single day. We have filed several complaints with the managers, but they only promised not to renew the neighbor's lease instead of evicting them immediately. The harassment continues to this day, but the management does not seem to care. I don't recommend anyone move here. Save yourselves because The Chalet management will never take action for your safety. There are no CCTV cameras, no concerns for resident safety, and the managers keep assuring us that they have sent our complaint to the head office, but they never keep us informed. As for maintenance, they never come at the scheduled time, and roaches are a constant problem, sometimes even appearing in the bedroom. It is entirely their responsibility to keep our surroundings safe and evict those who harm the neighborhood. I am highly disappointed with the facilities at The Chalet. I do not recommend it at all.

The worst apartments ever. They have roaches everywhere. They are liars. They had a beehive across from my apartments. I’m allergic and asked for it to be removed. No effort was made to remove them and I ended up in the hospital due to it. All they said was ok…you wanna renew your lease? Nubia is the worst manager that there could possibly be
No specifics needed. Just "STAY AWAY" should be sufficient. This property keep getting purchased by cheap, small, value add management companies who do the bare minimum and raise rents. However, this last one is the worse. Maintenance wi5h no experience, no website to pay rent, then they have added administrative charges for each one of THEIR bills such as utilities and electrivity. Thats right! They pass an ADMINISTRATIVE charge to process every payment to EACH unit! STAY AWAY!!!!!!
I just leased the last 1 bed 1 bath when I tell you it’s amazing it’s amazing. The staff up front was so polite and willing to help a lot. They gave me a home not a house. It’s a beautiful place inside and outside. They are very welcoming and they feel like family. They offer so much for their tenants than any apartments. Thank you Chalet I can’t wait to move into my place.

i like how the office treats the people, also great location in the dfw area.the only tink i dond like is the option to pay the rent.
This the worst apartment I ever leased. Found bug on the corners of the carpet on the day of movin. The management people are rude when I compalained they said that I bought the bed bug . I had never had this issue in my previous apartment. They are making us pay for treatment fee this is so disgusting this apartment has made my life miserable I would never ever lease this apartment and would never recommend this apartment to anyone. full of BEDBUG and ROUCHES. Just praying god every night to get my lease complete very sooo . The worst decision of my life for being here
The master bedroom's bathroom is like a dark cave because you have to cross the closet which more than a walk-in closet is a walk-through closet. The bathroom has no ventilation but it has a strange low ceiling (lower than the rest of the apartment) and the sound of the AC compressor is permanently bothering in that area. The kitchen is long and relatively spacious but uncomfortable for two people using it at the same time. The rooms doesn't have a lightbulb on the ceiling, you have to install lamps. And there's only one ceiling fan in the living room. Fireplace? Definitely not working (I wonder if it ever worked) and the "alarm system", what alarm system? The most traumatic part is that we have roaches. A lot of them. Finally: the neighbors are not nice. Last weekend I planned a Saturday at the pool with my hubby and when we got there at 6 PM it was taken by a huge party that apparently belonged to just one tenant (because every parking spot was taken and I kept seeing non-tenants arriving with beer boxes and coolers). When we got to the gate of the pool area, we encountered loud music, a lot of people, and the environment was intimidating, so we couldn't dare to enter there. The first night that we spent here the neighbor below us had loud music until 1 am. And today the guy next door had a party and people were hanging on the hallways and a guy was peeing in the stairs. The gym is OK but it closes at 5 PM. The common area is Ok: there are green spaces and a nice spot to take your dogs for a walk. The tennis court doesn't even have a web and the floor in there is fainted and ugly. Only the main pool is working, the other is off and they don't seem to be working on fixing it. Also, don't get fooled by the nice pictures they have of the Chalet: you will never use those facilities. The good part is that is close to many things, we rarely need to go beyond 3 miles to get food or groceries. I like the area, it's just the apartments which need more love from the owners of the apartments complexes

I apologize for my delay in response to your review. I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you so very much for your review. The Chalet being under new management is very interested in hearing what members of our community have to say. Our residents are a direct reflection of the community and your Chalet staff are hard at work to provide the best experience for our residents. Regarding the issues that you have listed in your review I wanted to take a moment and respond ensuring that we are listening and take all concerns pertaining to your home very seriously. Unfortunately, the layout of your apartment such as the size of kitchen, lower ceilings and closet in master bedroom are structural and are things that we cannot change. As far as the alarm systems the new management does not state or convey that there are alarms in the apartments. I apologize for any confusion there may have been. You are more than welcome as with most anywhere to have an alarm or monitoring set up in your home through your own initiative. Each apartment has a wood burning fireplace that should have no problems working. Please feel free to stop by anytime and further clarify what may be wrong with your fireplace. We will be more than happy take care of any valid issues with your fireplace. Please let us know what apartment number you live in and we will immediately put your home on the schedule for pest control which is every Friday. With new management the pest control company the property uses has changed. The new pest control company is extremely responsive and will definitely be able handle any problems you may have in your home. I am confident that any pest control issues you have will be resolved upon communication of your apartment number and scheduling of pest control upon your request. Our pool is open to the Chalet community however there will be times when residents may want to have celebrations with family and/or friends. The party that you spoke of in your review was known about by management. Any resident that comes to us wanting to use the pool area for a specific gathering is told it is first come first serve. As long as there is no disturbance to the community in any way, we do not have a problem with any resident enjoying areas like the pool with friends and family. Management is onsite and the pool party was kept respectful and did not cause any disturbances to anyone. I apologize for the inconvenience to you and your husband, that you felt you were not able to enjoy the pool the way you wanted to. Our main pool is open after much dedication from the owners down to each of your Chalet management staff. We worked very hard to make sure our residents would have a pool to enjoy in this Texas heat. The back pool is within the parameters of all the wonderful things to come here at The Chalet and is in preparation phrase for being opened when possible. We definitely wanted to make sure that the main pool was open for everyone to enjoy in the meantime! Our property generally does not have any issues with parties of the likes that was described in your review. As with anywhere you live people are human. Unfortunately, some people do not think of how their actions may affect others. I urge you to please let the office know of any such happenings so that we may handle the situation accordingly. Our Fitness center has always been open until 5:30 since the new management took over the property in December. Good News! Currently the fitness center is being renovated to accommodate 24/7 access for our residents. We look for the 24/7 access to be in effect within the next 2 weeks by the first week or so of August 2016! In 6 months we have made many improvements and continue to do so. We are very excitedly anticipating a park area, dog park, business center, 24/7 fitness center access, and much, much, more coming very soon for all of our residents to enjoy!
