Property Ratings at Commons at Fort Mill
The staff was very accommodating and patient through the application process and kind! Many apartments are recently renovated and very clean
DO NOT RENT HERE IF YOUR LOOKING TO WAIT A LONG TIME BEFORE GETTING A RESPONSE BACK FOR YOUR APPLICATION. These people will take your money the application and admin fee and not tell you what your missing until like multiple days later. Plus the apartments are not all of that for the price. Everything is low including the kitchen counters. It’s like everything is to the floor almost.
This property is trash. Sadly, it wasn't like this a few years ago. It was a nice respectful community of people. Since I moved in, I can honestly say this property is ghetto. Loud music banging from peoples' car, speeding, parties at 3am (literally had to call the courtesy officer),trash litter and stains all over the building, specifically (208), the building breezeways are disgusting, drug use and paraphernalia on the stairs , gangs, fighting, racial slurs, police activity including the SBI. Someone leaves their chihuahua out on their balcony and the dog literally barks all day.

Again not really sure how the new owners are. From my past experience, when a work order goes in it gets taken care of immediately. For me the maintenance had always gone above and beyond for me. Having the pool is one of my favorites.
It is inexpensive but still has quality people. Great area with a safe community.

Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We love to hear that you would recommend living at The Commons at Fort Mill.
The community in the complexes has gone down hill in the past 2 years. We have made more domestic violence phone calls to the police and have seen more police cars at the complexes in the past 2 years. But I will say I haven'??t seen nearly as much in the past 2 months so that has been a piece of mind to my husband and I. I feel like when the Commons sold from private to corporate management 2 years ago, the standard for this community dropped tremendously. But I have a lot of hope for the new ownership and have seen a lot of great this so far.
It would be great to recommend after things are cleaned up. And there is some control over the children playing in the hall ways. It's really dirty
I have lived at the Commons since November this last year. I am glad to see that the new management has came in and put some order to the chaos that was here with the previous ownership. I get emails and notices in regards to what is happening in the community, the pool is gorgeous and i can't wait to use it this summer. i love the layout and my neighbors are very friendly. Management is always there to help and the maintenance come out to repair issues as soon as possible. I will definitely be renewing my lease.
I toured the property and for a new place it does look nice. I noticed that the exterior isnt well cared for tho. And while in one of the units I heard the neighbors tv like it was in the room I was in. I began to wonder how cheap these apartments must be built.
