The Crestwood

When we signed our leases & moved into our apartments & condos we were told they would be newly renovated. However, upon move in we discovered a mess. We were notified all tubs would be resurfaced by mid September. This was August & now in February only one of the tubs in my apartment have actually been resurfaced. Most haven’t had a single tub worked on. When they started on ours they left our apartment completely covered in dust for days. I have a video showing how severe it was. My roommates & I had to be the ones to clean it to protect myself from asthma attacks because it became clear maintenance would not be cleaning it themselves. Whenever any resident has gone to the office to complain about the tub situation we have been told it’s not their fault because it is not their usual maintenance personnel working on them & that they also have to plow snow. However, these people were hired by the property management or they wouldn’t be entering our apartments so we do find fault with the management. We had a rough move in. The apartment hadn’t been cleaned. The dishwasher was full of old water had bugs living in it. The dishwasher does not work to this day (February) despite multiple maintenance requests. Whoever lived in the unit before us had left a bunch of old food in the fridge that had gone bad made the apartment smell. The floors hadn’t been cleaned we found cat toys under the couch which explained why my allergies have been so bad in the apartment. We had to deep clean all the cabinets we wanted to use because they’re covered in dried up crusty food. Lots of bugs. If they had done cleaning checks every month like they said they did they must’ve fined the tenants before us enough to actually clean this apartment well or at all before we moved in but that clearly didn’t happen. This is only a few of the issues I have had along with many friends & roommates. I have shown videos & photos regarding every issue listed in my review with the Crestwood beforehand with no action taken besides on the dishwasher. They did not take the maintenance request seriously until my mother went in to complain because we knew they’d treat her with respect since she was older. The dishwasher was replaced with another dishwasher that does not work & when we asked for an update they said they have to wait for warranty people to come look at it. All ongoing issues with our appliances were listed on our forms we filled out during move in.

Way too overpriced for what you get. I was told 5 out of ALL THE APARTMENTS passed the final cleaning checks. My apartment scrubbed the place and failed. They do that just so they can take all your deposit. We also didn't have a hot tub all year and a pool for only half the summer. And the clubhouse was being remodeled so no amenities. Also, everything was poorly constructed and was constantly breaking. Save yourself the pain and don't waste your money. Find anywhere other than this.

This is the third day of having no hot water in our apartment. I have to go to the rec center to shower. We have emailed and texted them and sent in a service request with no response!!! I have tried for the past two days to submit another service request, but the resident portal won't load so I cant even send a request. This place is seriously the worst!

Cheap and do the bare minimum. They over charge you give you cheap furniture and never come to fix it. They don’t care. The students are awesome tho and the atmosphere but you can find that somewhere else

If you guys will answer your phone will be great ?? sometimes y’all pick up and hang up again I been trying to reach y’all since morning and nothing. It’s kinda frustrating.
