Property Ratings at 2330 North Cahuenga, LP
A wonderful community of young creatives, families, and elderly people. The property manager is very sweet and accommodating. The 2B2B apartments with a loft are very spacious and include two small balconies. It is a gated community with security cameras. The Hollywood Sign and Reservoir, The Hollywood Bowl, Ford Theater, The Chinese Theater, Hollywood Blvd, and tons of coffee shops, restaurants, and markets are walkable nearby.
This is the worst apartment and management I have ever experienced. Since I've lived here, my car has been broken into, there is a ton of commotion and the elevator has stopped working multiple times to which the Property Manager has done nothing about. It's a horrible place to live, so save yourself the stress, and look elsewhere for someplace better. It won't be difficult to find. Also, after reading a lot of these reviews it is very obvious the actual tenants have not written them. Maybe the owners of the property and the property manager should actually be doing a better job at managing the properties, instead of paying people to write reviews so they don't get fired for doing such a terrible job.
This place is great. Garage parking and easy access to pretty much everything is exactly what I need. It's a hop away from Weho and if you need to work on the other side of the hill but want to live near the fun, it's pretty much a perfect place for that. Love this area and couldn't be happier.
This place is great! Inside my unit is very quite and I have a patio which doesn't have much noise either. The building is nice to show friends and not to mention my unit, which has been remodeled with new everything. The one thing is that my 1 bedroom is interestingly shaped. It's not your average squared bedroom but it works for me and makes me feel for some reason or another more cozy. Overall, I like the area and living here and will be staying for some time.
This place is in a perfect location to get to and from work very quickly. The building was very quite and the people are friendly. I had a one bedroom and it had all new fixtures, granite counter tops, wood floors and plenty of room. I honestly loved living here. If my job moves back to this area, I 100% will be coming back.
We lived in this building about 4.5 years and the original management company cores was always changing our building manager and not really taking care of the building, then about 1-2 years ago Sussex capital took over and brought in Tatiana. She was the best building manager we ever had there. Any issues we had she always took care of right away and made sure we we're always happy with our apartment. She was def one of the reasons we stayed so long at the building. We would have probably stayed there a lot longer had we not decided to move downtown. Overall very happy with our experience at hillpointe and with Tatiana and Sussex capital.
I found this on apartments.com, and I have been trying to get in touch with the leasing office. No luck. I drove there today, & let me tell you this is literally off the highway RIGHT near 101 highway, no joke the noise is so loud. It was extremely hard for me to find, and the parking garage was hard to get into. I decided not to rent because of the noise/location.
I am a current resident at The Hillpointe, I have lived at these apartments for over 3 years now. I have seen Managment and Maintance come and go. I can honestly say that the current Manager and Maintance man are amazing! Not only are they the best that this property has seen since I’ve been here, but the Manager has been by far the best Manager I have expierenced at any property I have lived in. They always fulfill my Maintance request in a timely manner. Once the work is done the Manager always sends a follow up text to make sure I am happy with everything. From the outside of your apartment you can hear the freeway, but my apartment is completely sound proof. In general this place is a great place to live, everyone is very friendly and neighborly. I feel safe and at home. The Manger has worked very hard to create a safe happy environment, and you can tell! My entire experience has been an extremely positive one. Having a designated parking spot in such a busy area is key. The garages have cameras, and can only be accessed by fob or clicker. The gym has recently been updated with new equipment. It’s small but has anything that you can possibly need to workout. The machines are always available and there’s cable TV and AC. Most units come with a washer/dryer, but for the few that don’t there is a cute little laundry room. The property is kept very clean, and they are constantly doing little things to improve the aesthetics.
Very average apartments, newer re-done units are nicer, older ones are beige and very dated looking. Management is lack-luster at best, frequently don't get back to you in any timely fashion, maintenance requests can go a long time without a response. The whole unit is full of Airbnbs, people park in the wrong spots, tons of coming and going. I have also had mail stolen from my front door, whether thats by actual renters or someone from Airbnb, who knows... Maintenance people have lied to my face, and the cops came looking for the cleaning woman recently. The area is a nightmare during bowl season. Stacked parking is a headache if you have roommates. You can pretty much always hear the traffic on the 101.
First of all, the apartments that were remodeled (mine was one) are beautiful. They have gorgeous red accent walls and new red wood floors. The kitchens have gorgeous granite counters and dark wood cabinets, along with new appliances and a washer dryer all ready to go for you! Pets are even welcome with NO monthly pet fee or deposit! (SCORE) My main issue is parking. Each unit only gets one space (either single or tandem parking if you have two cars) and the garage is tiny. Trying to maneuver in the garage is a nightmare! Plus the driveway is right off of Cahuenga and that street is crazy busy. If you have more than 2 cars, you are basically left to fend for yourself on the parking on the street (Cahuenga Terrace) behind us and that's towing central. My boyfriends beautiful F150 was towed TWICE on that street. Traffic is insane as well because of the Hollywood Bowl events and being so close to the 101N entrance. (You are literally RIGHT by the freeway... Also, the noise!) There also aren't a lot of amenities... There's a BBQ area with a little table to sit at, but it's down in a little corner of the place so all of the patios get smoked out any time someone grills. There's NO pool and a closet size gym with just the basics (free weights, treadmill, stepper, and two weight machines). Overall, it's full of fun people and pets and beautiful in the individual units, but that's about it. Hope this was helpful!
