I absolutely love my apartment! The view of the marina is gorgeous on my large balcony. The staff here are so helpful and the amenities are perfect!

I am enjoying my residency at The Moorings, love my marina view and this is a very friendly community. There are lots of local shops and restaurants nearby which I love.

We love living here! We have an amazing view of the marina. We suggest to all of our friends looking for an apartment in the area to come check out our property. The office and maintenance staff go above and beyond to help when needed. The area is safe and clean. Floor plans are very nice with beautiful upgrades.

So far it seems like a nice quite community. The staff have all been super helpful! I put in my move in inspection and within hours had received a phone call by the service team to schedule repairs. They communicated very well and were very efficient.

I’ve had a fantastic experience living at The Mooring Apartment Complex! The location is perfect—right by the water, with beautiful views and easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. The apartments themselves are spacious, modern, and well-maintained. I love how quiet and peaceful the community is, making it a great place to relax after a long day. The staff here is incredibly friendly and responsive. Any time I’ve had a maintenance request or question, they’ve addressed it promptly and professionally. The amenities, like the pool and fitness center, are always clean and well-kept, adding so much to the overall living experience.

Great and safe neighborhood to live in. Move in was very smooth. So far I have no complaints. Maintenance is always responsive. Nice pool and amenities.

I like it here, however, it's begin to be too expensive. The utilities have gotten to be too expensive. The rats are extremely bad and other rodents are running around like crazy. I don't know what the exterminator does, because one thing, he doesn't do is exterminate. I even seen him one day, not doing anything with the container in his hand. The staff and maintenance are nice, but that is it. It doesn't have the luxury appearance like it use to.

The staff is always friendly. They keep us updated with things going on in the complex as well aa other issues that may affect residents. I have only been living here a few months but love it thus far.

Love the area! This seems to be a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood! Plus the amenities are perfect! All of the staff that have helped us with our move in process have been so friendly and provided any assistance we needed!

I am in Love with my spacious apartment home at The Moorings. I just love the location. The staff is so sweet and helpful. I am so shocked at how big and beautiful my balcony is. I have so much space for my stuff. I am really happy I moved here.

Our power didn't go out during the hurricane. Great lay outs for the apartment. Always good parking. Community is always improving and looking good.

The best part of living here is the view, however I have the noisiest upstairs neighbor, have to call pest control way too often, and I’ve never paid so much for an electric bill in my life. $300 per month because the AC can’t keep up with this heat, it constantly runs and my apartment won’t get below 76 degrees. $300/mo for a one bedroom electric bill is insane. Looking forward to the end of my lease if i can even make it that long.

Easy move in experience. Very friendly staff! Everything was ready upon my arrival. Beautiful complex on the marina. Clean apartment. I can’t wait to enjoy all it has to offer.

The last few months have been MISERABLE! My AC has not worked properly for the last month and management does NOTHING to repair it! My apartment is constantly 78-80 degrees and the humidity is super high. I had to buy 2 portable AC's to keep my bedrooms cool but the kitchen and living areas are miserably hot and humid. Nothing has been done by the property and no solutions are being presented. I am completely frustrated with the property and their lack of customer care and their complete lack of urgency to resolve this matter. To top it off, I got an electric bill for $590 because the AC runs all the time, never works, and never reaches the setpoint but I need it to circulate the air. Since FOGELMAN bought this property, it has been HORRIBLE and all DOWN HILL! Don't move here!

I'm going to say because of maintenance, security, and the beautiful grounds, this place is wonderful. We would stay if they had three bedrooms with hardwood floors throughout. Wish we had an updated unit, for what we have paid. But the school district is top-notch. The pool was shut down during covid, and winter. I never heard screaming. If there's an issue go online and place a request they get to it asap. Maintenance is Superduper here.

I have lived here for over 18 months and can honestly say at least twice in that time I’ve tried to move to Houston to be closer to my family, but simply couldn’t! It’s true that until the change in recent months there were quite a few aspects that needed improvement. Never on the maintenance side, the team are excellent - efficient, friendly and professional, working tirelessly in the Texan heat to keep our community sparkling. Our manager Alice has made a world of difference since taking over a couple of months ago, now there is a feeling of smooth running, requests listened to and generally I’d say we are all much happier. Alice is backed up by Stephanie and Jess, who are both professional and helpful, and their office is a friendly place - for our doggies too! We now have regular community events, in fact an email reminder has just arrived for our burgers and movie night tonight. I’m the roving tenant, have lived in 3 different floor plans (due to my indecisive actions and son moving out). The upstairs 2 bedroom is very roomy, the second bedroom as big (it seems) as the master. I liked the internal staircase as it felt like living in a town home. The smaller 1 bedroom is so well planned, with lots of light and a massive balcony that virtually gives an extra room. I loved that floor plan. The larger 1 bedroom, which are the 4 storey blocks, is my current home. I look out into the central garden, grill area which is very pretty, and a quick nip to the marina for our sunset strolls along the marina. Want to put up some pics, but I’m posting this now so I don’t lose all this typing! All in all a great place to call home ??

The management company (Pinnacle) is horrible. I have been trying for 9 weeks to get items fixed and NO response at all! I even wrote the big "bosses" and - nope, no response either. The screaming of the kids in the pool is ridiculously loud every weekend and continues until well past 9pm - and I don't even live close to it! You can never reach the front desk. Now we need a code to register to get the rent bill (as noted in review below) but they won't answer the phone to give it out. The grounds here are stunning but the customer service is deplorable. It's nothing like when Jayme from Greystar was here. They knew what they were doing - unlike these people. Save your money and time spent being aggravated. My recommendation: DO NOT RENT HERE.

I agree with the other reviewer that this complex used to be wonderful. Since new owners took over the property in August of 2015 it has quickly gone down hill. The office staff has been fired or changed three times now. The billing never seems to be correct. Online statements do not match what gets mailed to you. Now they changed property management again and they did not let the residents know we had to re-register for online payments. That would have been nice to know before trying to pay my rent online. Instead, I had to waiting for someone in the leasing office to give me a "code" to use online. The same office person could not tell me why my paper invoice was not the same as the invoice online. Clueless. A new roof was put on the apartments last year. That was nice. The grounds are not kept up as well as with previous owner. The office seems very disorganized and generally not very friendly. Maintenance has it's own set of issues. Yes, the view is nice. That's is about all. When my lease is up I will be moving.

This complex was once the best apartment complex on the South Side of Clear Lake, but do to a change in management/ownership it has turned into a train wreck. The customer service is lacking terribly, many of the amenities listed for the property are either non-existent or "coming soon." The pool is consistently in need of attention and cleaning, and the algae blooms are almost every weekend. To the credit of the new management they have only had the property going on 3 months but unfortunately all of the issues with the property have been within the last 3 months. Prior to the change you weren't waiting weeks on end for repairs to be done to your apartment. The most basic operational parts of just running the property seem to be lacking and it has made living in the complex extremely unpleasant. Over all after living here for many years, I love the view and being on the water but the headache of even getting billed properly has forced me to look for a new home. The location is great but the fact the basic services for the apartments aren't being meet, I would avoid this complex and look else were.

The location is the best thing about this place. Nestled in an enclave with marina views and what seems to be endless grounds for walking and running this complex is as comfortable as it gets. Well maintained and updated. Only 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle, but you tend to forget about that when you're this comfortable.
