Koreatown is a vibrant LA neighborhood fille with hidden gems, bars, eateries, and a collision of cultures. As the name suggests, the atmosphere in Koreatown is heavily influenced by Korean culture. The neighborhood is a favorite destination among foodies city-wide for its endless selection of authentic Korean restaurants, but the community has a much more diverse character than that: the broad range of cultural influences is exemplified in landmarks like the synagogue and contemporary art gallery of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the Latin fusion cuisine of Roy Choi’s restaurants, and the popular German/Korean/Hawaiian tinged gastropub, Biergarten.
Although the area is a hot spot for LA residents’ day trips, Koreatown is known as one of the best places to live in LA. Most locals rent their homes and enjoy parks, coffee shops, and stores within walking distance of their apartments.

Property Ratings at The Piccadilly
This apartment complex is located in Koreatown its very nice, and it has an age old vintage feel to it, very beautiful on the inside. It use to be an old hotel in the 60's apparently. The managers are nice here they respond to your calls or texts immediately if you have a problem. The apartments themselves are nice, the one I'm in has hardwood floors, 6 windows, with laundry and utilities included, its pet friendly, and they're very spacious. Its also located near some awesome bars, restaurants, and night clubs so you don't need to worry about driving somewhere to have a good time since they're all right down the street. Its also near a bunch of post offices and banks which is super convenient. BUT there are a couple of problems. Street parking is next to impossible to find, you can easily acquire parking tickets, and you could get a parking spot in a garage nearby but its $100/mo. The other problem is, is that this apartment has a roach problem. Oh and a bed bug problem. I had to have 6 pest control treatments and they aren't completely gone yet. I do have to admit though that they're working hard to get rid of it. The other thing is that they listed my apartment for $1550/mo but once I signed the lease my rent went up to $1598/mo plus city fees. The other thing is, is you can't sublease your apartment.
