Property Ratings at Village at Gaithersburg
- Terrible This Is The Trap. Buildings Slide And Rumble When It Rains. Windows Cracking Infested With Insects Living In Walls. Refrigerator Broke 2 Days After They “bought a new one”. Building Hallways Have No Screens To Keep Insects Out Of The Building. Rats Run In And Out Of Each Apartment. Maggots live in the back hallway. Maintenance Is Here During The Week But Forgets What He Has To Do.
3 months and I'm very happy with my decision to move here. I have no roaches or mice or any other problems. My apartment is so nice. The people in the office Crystal and Carla are very nice and friendly to me and my family. I love this area and my work is near. I can park for free and like the park. And the rent is not too high.

Hope T., thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We are proud to provide our residents with high quality service, responsiveness, and respect they deserve. The Villages of Gaithersburg Team
The property management team led by Ms. Carter has done an outstanding job of maintaining the buildings and the parking lot and truly care about the you having a nice, safe place to live. The maintenance staff is super friendly and helpful and any work requests I put in have been completed within 2 days, so they are very diligent. It has improved a lot since I first moved in so that's probably why there are some negative reviews from earlier.
The Village of Gaithersburg, is such a very laid back community. The reason being is that the staff that we have now, Ms. Karla, Crystal and Jasmine are so professional and family friendly people. I have lived here for two years and they in my stay here are the best that have manage this complex. So if this is what you are looking for to rent, come on over to the Village of Gaithersburg, Good people and Good Apartments.??
The villages of Gaithersburg staff is very kind courteous and helpful even the Maintenance guys Ralph ,and Sandy ,robin very efficient and professional and then office staff Jasmine,Mrs Karla .Mrs Krystal are very friendly and helpful and this is a wonderful place they have made the community look so wonderful the warmth and I love living here
This place is dirty, noisy, roach infested and management makes up unnecessary additional monthly fees.

I went to look at a unit, the girl in the rental office was very nice. Megan was helpful and knowledgeable, she went above and beyond to explain the process. She is great!!!
Helpful staff leasing office staff. Meghan the assistant is so sweet & helpful. Maintenance staff is very nice and will always say hello when they see you. They are quick to respond to maintenance issues. Only thing I wish they had was an online portal to log maintenance issues. Propery well kept. Pool is a nice size.

The management has no idea what they are doing. It is terrible after living here for 2years ,the decision has been made to move. They lost my lease application and papers ,blame others instead of apologizing and fixing the problem. Lucky, for me i make copies and showed proof. Management made errors, where I was being blamed for. Staff does not keep property clean. Rodants are within the walls, inside apartment (pest control is not done regularly ). Parking is horrible ,not enough visitors parking, towing company is checking at all time and at times even cars with stickers being towed. Pool was closed for a while, baby pool still closed. Maintenance does not leave notes when they come into apartment, don't wear booties. Not a great experience overall still chaotic with limited resources. The location was convenient for transportation and surrounding stores that are close by, but thankful I found something better and wish tenants best of luck.

Thank you for choosing The Villages Of Gaithersburg and for taking the time to review our property. Your input and feedback are so important to us. We agree that many changes have happen for the better to improve our property physically and cosmetically. Many have shared that they greatly appreciate the changes made. We have changed many vendors to better assist with maintaining our Community one being parking so that those who are not residents are not allowed to park on property to assist with those that do live can park comfortably. Our pool is open daily including Holidays except Mondays be sure to stop by to enjoy the pool at your earliest convenience. We want to exceed your expectations. Again, thank you for your feed back. Sincerely, Management
Ever since this apartment complex was bought by a different company it has gone down hill. They can't seem to keep any staff long term which means no one is ever on the same page. Two of the buildings recently got condemned by the City of Gaithersburg for code violations. It was something to due with electricity in contact with water. This company decides to pay fines to the city instead of actually fixing problems. I never received responses when I called with a question and left messages. This is just a poorly run apartment complex. For the money, I would find a different place to live.

Terrible that we as residents have to live among mice, tolerate a unprofessional angry staff member, slow maintenance , not to mention raised rent. Avoid this place as if its the plague.

Hi We are sorry to hear that your experience has been less than exceptional. We would like to help turn your lackluster experience around. If you're willing, please contact us at (301) 948-0636 to discuss what we can do to help.
Not sure why this place has gone downhill so fast since new management took over. Countless inspections (Property Management, City and State) that result with things "eventually possibly" get fixed, usually after a state inspection. Numerous buildings with broken front entrances allowing the summer weather, bugs, rodents & whoever else open access to the building. People are being charged for utilities on apartments they don't occupy. Management is more concerned with where and how children play than the piles of trash and animal feces around the neighborhood. There is no recreation in the neighborhood except a slide and 2 swings. Good luck with parking at night near where you live as there are numerous abandoned vehicles and vehicles from the surrounding neighborhoods parked in the lots, because there are no passes or assigned parking. If it snow, dont plan on leaving for at least 2 days, unless the residents dig ourselves out which is the fastest way. The "plow" makes things much worse, and there is no salt or sand used. Management is more concerned with repairing abandoned apartments, than repairing (or replacing the old, out of date) appliances for current residents, but they are quick to evict and leave notes about late payments. There are also numerous concerns mostly from female residents involving the maintenance crew entering apartments unannounced (when only minors are home,) stealing items, and the inability to trust someone who looks at and talks to them in sexually suggestive ways.
The manager give to us a wrong apartment and the apartment that she give to us was nasty all the apartment she call us to give to us the key then she said we move before is stupid because she call and she said you can move now the refrigerator was bad and they take one week to change and they dont pay our food that get bad really you need people with a great costumer service like doll i dont know why she left but really change this persons or everyone will move soon...
This used to be a great place to live. Broad Management Group needs to let the tenants talk with them about what is happening here. You can't complain to the office manager on the property if she is one of the problems. The women running the property is rude, disrespectful, and has absolutely no people skills. There is only one maintenance worker on the property so it takes time to get things repaired. One person can't take care of 15 buildings alone. We have a horrendous mouse infestation that has been going on for atleast a year. The managements idea of fixing the problem is to have pest control put down traps. We still have mice so thats not working. I have been living here for 7yrs and we need carpet and paint. And there response is management won't let us replace the carpet or paint at this time because it's not in the budget. They screen phone calls in the office. I have called while standing right outside and they don't answer. So you to actually go into the office. And when you try and tell them what's going on they have excuse after excuse of why things are bad around here. We dont need excuses we need repairs. The dishwashers are old and have a foul smell when you wash your dishes. The refrigerators are rusted on the side. The blinds are so cheap they bend when you open the windows. The trash dumpsters are over flowing and there is old furniture all around the dumpsters not being picked up. Parking lot lights aren't being repaired. One has been out for 2 months and no repairs insight. Its dangerous to have dark parking lots, but they don't care because they don't have to live here. The insides of the buildings are super dirty and Its not getting any better around here. So me and my wife are moving out. I refuse to keep paying rent to live with rodents. And don't ask to speak with me about my concerns. You've had many opportunities to speak with me or my wife when we have come into the office and you we're rude and didn't care about what we had to say. So no thank you.
Was good with old management company, new management company is terrible. Property manager is rude, not very engaging. Behaves as if she doesn't like her job. Maintenance men are the same; one talks the other one behaves as if he could care less about the job. Pretends to be doing work. Sudden changes, terrible communications. Terrible decision making during a snow storm, just an all around bad experience.

Dear Resident, as stated in my response from your recent post, please allow me to address any concerns or dissatisfaction you may have. I welcome a meeting with you at your convenience. Please contact the leasing office at your earliest convenience. Our goal is to do what we can to make our residents happy and I eagerly await your call or email. Thank you.
Do not move there the entire development is rat infested. The management isn't doing anything to fix the problem. The manager is rude and nasty when she is there. They only have one maintenance worker that does all the work. The other one sits around all day doing nothing. The property was recently sold and is becoming a dump. The trash piles up at the trash dumpersters. The recycling doesn't get picked up as often as it should. The appliances are old and they won't replace them. There are mice in every building and in every apartment. The property is poorly maintained every since new management. I recently broke my lease and moved because things were just too bad. Avoid this property if you can.
