Property Ratings at Beacon Point Apartments
I love my apartment great customer service maintenance team are very good nice neighborhood
0 Communication, awful maintenance response, expensive with NO benefits. Claim to have a pool, park, and tennis courts. Nothing is useable. Pool hasn't been filled in the 2 years I've lived here, park is sketchy as best, and the tennis counts are non-existent. The numbers on the website don't go anywhere, they are still using COVID as a reason to have no one in the office even when they HAD people in the office during Covid. New company who took over (Cornerstone Managed Properties) are absolutely awful
There is a new apartment manager every month, no maintenance for months at a time and they never complete a single thing they start. There is blood splattered on walls in the hall way, cigarette butts and burns in the halls. I've called the cops so many times due to fights in the complex it's insane. It's flooded and they only put fans out instead of replacing drywall or carpet. All the numbers listed on the website never connect you to a person. No communication. For months they refused to resign my lease and charged me extra for being month to month. This place is hell.
- Hole in the ceiling above the shower that leaks whenever the tenants above use their shower. - Due to the above issue, there is water damage and mold in the bathroom. - Back door to the main building cannot close due to a broken mechanism. This is NW Ohio, in the winter, it's COLD outside. - Deadbolt of apartment door falls out and doesn't work. When we approached the maintenance team about the issues, he simply laughed in our face and claimed some people have had holes in their ceiling for 5 months, and simply turned around and walked away when we said there was issues with that. Avoid this place like the plague. We're locked into a year lease, save your time, your money, and your health.
I just moved here April 2020 and I love it so far I have my own washer and dryer in my apartment and my building is very quiet and neighbors are friendly they have upgraded and have a wonderful property manager who cares about the property
(If I could leave “0” stars I would)I’ve been living here for 7 months and nothing’s been done about the things I wrote done on a check list to be fixed the first month I’ve moved in. My air conditioning system has went out twice before completely going out the end of August ‘18. The washer and dryer to this unit was broken upon my arrival February ‘18 I received a new one in April ‘18 uninstalled until late August ‘18 and they still have not hooked up the dryer hose to it. The maintenance man knows of all things that are not related and he says he is the only maintenance man for all of the properties so he’s being stretched thin. This isn’t fair conditions to live in no matter who you are. As of today repairs still have not been fixed.

The pool this property has has not been open since 2016. It did not open last year and no explanation or notice was given. It is Memorial Weekend 2018- No signs of the pool opening and again, no notice or explanation given.

I've been here for almost 2 years and have been nickel and dimed to over $700/ month over the course of each lease. This year, the dish washer, oven, and furnace broke with response times being at minimum one week to fix. Maintenance crew is very knowledgeable and skilled, but the complex refuses to update appliances. You'll start at the advertised price, but every year they will up the rent until it would make more sense to get a mortgage. The pool did not open in 2017, and there is a playground, but the kids prefer to play in the parking lots and in traffic, and do not care about damage to vehicles. The renovation was only done to 6 units that burned to the ground the previous year and they are still being built. The lease is supposed to be non-smoking, but that translates to "smoke on your patio and distribute it to all the nearby furnaces." There is also no sound insulation between the ceiling and floor between units.

The Woodlands are centrally located near shopping, restaurants and fun family activities like the Toledo Zoo. Our apartment is large and the walk-in closets are a great amenity. My kids love the two pools, one for the smaller kids and a larger one for the big kids & kids at heart! The office staff is very friendly and always go out of their way to make things right. Overall a great place to live!
I love my apartment it's in the middle of a lot of shopping centers, restaurants, and grocery stores. My area is quiet and well kept it allows pets which is great.
