Wedged between Dallas and the DFW International Airport, Irving is a major part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. If you choose to live in an Irving apartment, everything you want is right outside your door, from major sports events to amazing shopping and dining to theme parks to golf courses to museums and theaters. Irving is home to the University of Dallas, North Lake College, the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas, and the Irving Mall.
Neighborhoods in Irving are as stunning as they are varied. From trendy downtown loft apartments to suburban mansions and everything in between, Irving has a community designed for you. While commuting throughout the Metroplex is simple with nearby highways like I-635 and the President Geroge Bush Turnpike, businesses like Kimberly-Clark, ExxonMobil, Abbott Laboratories, AT&T, and Citigroup are all located in Irving, many near the live-work-play neighborhood of Las Colinas -- home of the famous Mustangs at Las Colinas sculpture.

Property Ratings at Tower Village (C.H.A.M.)
0/5 stars apt. management is absolutely incompetent. Maintenance is just the same. Pests are everywhere. AC units are broken in almost all the units. Our stove and fridge were broken for over 2 months and nothing was done about it. They will go against your lease agreement and lie their way out of actually helping you. This place was one of the worst places ive ever live in and ive been to some pretty bad places this one is on the BOTTOM of the list.
My partner and I just moved from Austin and are so lucky to call this place home!! We were looking for a great deal and our expectations were surpassed here!! Darian, who works in the front office is one of the nicest, most supportive, and professional leasing agent we have ever worked with. He made the process comfortable and smooth! He definitely needs a raise!! This property is clean and very well maintained. They have a strong maintenance team. We also have an app forum where the community can communicate and keep each other updated. The community is very friendly and respectful.
Not only did our ceiling collapse from water damage, the foundation of the building was shifting during our lease which lead to cracks in the floor. We were not given a rent discount while our ceiling was collapsed and being repaired. The maintenance workers for the property are very professional and courteous while the management is unhelpful at best and often intentionally malicious, especially when applying for apartments after renting from them. To top it all off, they took our security deposit and added an absurd number of fees and repairs, none of which were necessary and all of which were exorbitantly priced ($100 to resurface a bathtub that is in the same condition as when we moved in?). The residents are great and the maintenance workers are top notch but the management team is zero stars.
They don't even care about your problems at all. They even blame it on you and you have to move out or pay for the violation.
Management does not seem to care at all. Forced several people to move out due to foundation repairs leaving them homeless. After move out, several charges for damages were given for things that were not damaged such as carpet replacement and tile resurfacing.
The only people who should even be considering living here are students, and if you are, I highly suggest you look elsewhere. The management is constantly making billing "mistakes," and they do not communicate in any way that could be recorded. If you can even manage to find their email addresses, they do not respond. They do not have a website. They do not give receipts for payments or move-out notices, and they use that against you. Be prepared to get eviction notices for not paying a bill you've already paid. Be prepared to be charged for rent long after you move out, because they did not process your move-out notice. Be prepared to be told that all of your broken amenities are unfixable. The management, frankly, acts like they don't want you there, and why would you want to live anywhere you're not wanted?
First of all, the management. I feel like you should have the mental capacity greater than that of a 6 year old to manage an apartment complex. They've given many people eviction notices for being 2 days late on a trash fee. They lost our rent payment, twice. They are completely incompetent and when you need information or clarification from them, they are not only useless but RUDE. The new management is horrendous and needs to be fixed. The one manager literally wears slippers to work and knows nothing. I've never been treated well by them and they KNOW they can take advantage of us because we're college students The maintenance situation is a joke too. We've had multiple urgent issues that took weeks to fix and still have others yet to be addressed. Oh and they hire fake police officers to shut down our parties.
The management is a hodgepodge of people who have no business being in the business of hospitality. They talk to you like you are a third grader, and have no consideration for their residents. They will do the best the can to sell you on all the "new" updates, but the apartments are still a sinkhole with a poor foundation. Our stove was broken since we moved in. We filed work orders for months until we went into the office and demanded that it was fixed. Instead of fixing the stove, the sent a notice that they had fixed the stove on a day that I had been in the apartment all day. That is to say, the stove is still broken as we move out. The only reason they can get away with being this inadequate at their jobs is because Tower Village is the only affordable apartments around the University of Dallas. If you can afford to live somewhere else, do it. I would rather sign my soul to the devil then sign a contract with Tower Village Apartments.
The staff is so rude and they will ignore your calls and emails until you show up at the office. If you work 8-5 you're screwed! the roof leaks the plumbing is trash . and you have to pay rent via an APP, yes you read that right, and once you pay your first months rent they will smack monthly facility fees and other previously unknown fees and tell you you're late on rent because of them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MOVING HERE!!!
The apartments don't even have light fixtures in the rooms; you have to buy your own lamps to brighten up the rooms. The gate is always broken, no use of a gated community. We used to have Irving PD patrol the facility, but now that the apartments are under new management, we have no security. The water bill is always high, and the rent jumped 20-30%. New Management doesn't work with you, and basically wants you out! I have been living here for the past 3-4yrs, and worked well with the old management company, but now things are changing and getting expensive. For them to bump up rent, you would think the apartment would have W/D connection or at least light fixtures in the rooms, but nothing! Light Bill is always high, especially during the summer time, due to the apartments not having proper insulation! At night you can here the rats running around in the ceiling. Trash everywhere!! Roof is leaking in one of the bedrooms, and now has a hole. I reported to management, and nothing has been resolved. Very unhappy, once my lease is up, I am definitely moving!
I ignored all the poor reviews and moved in here. My roof (in half bathroom) leaks and has mold. I've called in several times and it has not been fixed. On a good day it will not leak but it's such a mess. Our heater does not kick in and out by itself. It has to be on the whole time for us to get warm. There are holes under our windows and light bills are always over $100. What's the point moving in here to pay for high bills and no proper maintenance.
If you do not mind all the amenities that come with your apartment breaking or how you will be sleeping with cockroaches this might be the place for you. The staff is awful , and the gate always breaks more than half the time its just open so what is the point saying its a gated community. It is not a safe place to live and there is trash everywhere in the street. I will never suggest anyone to ever live here!
The staff is always so friendly. Love how everything is close by. I like that it's an isolated residential community with no unwanted guests or extra traffic in the area. Tower Village is the most affordable for the amenities provided, along with a sense of security. We are satisfied with our move in process and are enjoying our new place!
These apartments are great if you like flies in your ceiling lights, cockroaches under your bed, hornets at your door, and an apartment that cannot retain the A/C. I must not neglect the incredible staff that absolutely hate their job and only offer assistance if you walk into the office and say you've called 15 times. Or the diligent police officers that seem to be making an appearance to your neighbors every other weekend. If your style of living sounds anything like this, then you've picked a real winner. Best of luck, it's best to sleep here with one eye open.
