Welcome to Townplace where you get the “Landlord Special”. Very dingy outdated apartments for a steep price. From the moment we moved in we had water leaks in the ceiling which caused mold, leaks in the kitchen flooring, and leaks behind the bathroom walls which caused mold as well, didn’t have a working dryer for 4 months and when I brought up it was a hazard blowing hot air into the walls with a blockage, the front desk didn’t seem to care. I absolutely loved the maintenance staff, I understand they get busy and all, but the front staff seemed to have an attitude and didn’t know how to tend to serious issues. When we moved out we left the apartment in pristine condition, cleaner then when we moved in, but they tried to charge us for carpet replacement claiming urine stains. As they stated in response “the suggestion to test for urine stains in the carpet pad seems unwarranted and unjust” . But yet they are trying to make false charges. I pointed out the carpet was not in new condition when I moved in and they stated it was, I had photo proof that there were clear as day black stains on the front and dining room in some spots, but was told it was part of the brown mutual tones carpet design. It was clearly not and any person in their right mind could tell. They refused to do a move out inspection which IS in the lease and they said it wasn’t. And refused to give us a call with someone who can help, they keep mentioning third party after third party and it’s just a circle of blaming who to talk to about the charges. They said we “exaggerated” the situation which is very untrue, I don’t mind paying for actual damages I cause, but I didn’t and we didn’t have animals that urinated. I also from time to time smelled smoke coming from our vents. It’s sad cause I figured we could handle things but the front office was so rude from the start when we asked to speak to someone who could help. The only good thing about these apartments were the pool and kids park, and maintenance. PLEASE get a walk through move out inspection done, and make sure you take note of everything, they will try to take your money!

They stopped work on my roof after removing the shingles 2 weeks ago. My roof is dripping water every time it rains. They will not even respond to my maintenance request. I have lived here 3 years and the hot tub has not worked since I lived here. Avoid leasing here, there are many options just down the street.

We moved from Ohio to Florida. Our apartment we originally had signed with screwed us over. We then found Town Place. The staff has been absolutely amazing in helping making our move run smoothly. The ladies at the office are super kind and extremely helpful with anything you might need.

I have lived at different apartment complexes before, but nothing is on par with the impeccable service and quality I receive here. The office staff works with you on any issues or questions you may have, the maintenance crew goes above and beyond fixing most issues as they arise and getting most things fixed same day. Everyone that works here is always so friendly and inviting whenever you have a question or just want to say hi. I highly recommend this complex to anyone that has had issues with other complexes and wants something better.
I have enjoyed living here with my wife and son. It is a friendly place. The neighbors are great and the front office is helpful.
Five years this month and some of my neighbors the same so it makes it very comfortable when living by yourself. Washer and Dryer in each unit and maintenance to the rescue whenever you need. Two minutes from US 19 access and a 24 hour Walmart. Lovely well kept pool which doesn't really get too crowed and always enough parking. Approachable Leasing Staff that are ready to assist with any thing you need. 10 minutes from Countryside Mall and 20 minutes from Clearwater Beach. I saw another person's review about the noise above the apartment, myself personally, have had 'Shrek' living upstairs for a year and now have another gentleman who's steps I never hear living above me. So that aspect is luck of the draw unfortunately.
Town Place is a decent apartment complex. The floor plan is great and I do love the larger, plantation blinds. The maintenance team is pretty darn good and friendly. Nick, in the office, has always been friendly and helpful. As my title suggests, over all a good place to live. However, we are on the bottom floor, and it sounds like elephants live around above us. It's the fourth set of upstairs neighbors and they all have been the same. That tells me, it's not the people, it's the construction. I might give the complex a higher rating if not for that. It's quite frustrating. Also, we currently have a neighbor with a barking dog. Which barks all the time. We can hear the dog, pretty clearly. Again, it makes me think of the construction, it just seems too loud. The last thing that really bothers me, the closet doors. There are 6 closet doors in the unit. All bi-fold doors. Every single one of them do not work correctly. They fall off the tracks. They can be quite annoying. Overall, the 2 bedroom is really nice. It's a good place to live. And if we lived around less dogs or upstairs, maybe my overall experience would be better.
I have lived here for almost a year and have been very happy here. It's a nice mix of people. Lots of families, young professionals, some elderly. I am a young female and live by myself and feel very safe here. For the price and the area it is a good deal. Especially if you compare it to other properties in that price range. Maintenance is awesome! I have read a lot of horrible reviews about maintenance people at other complexes while researching apts and I have to say I got lucky here. My only complaint is it can get noisy on the weekends with kids running around outside late at night, but they've been harmless so far. I won't be renewing my lease but only because I want to be closer to st petersburg. Only reason.
