Home to several historic landmarks and houses, Columbia-Tusculum is Cincinnati’s oldest neighborhood. Nicknamed the San Francisco of Cincinnati, Columbia-Tusculum is a vibrant enclave known for its multicolored Victorian houses and trendy cafes and bars. Although the neighborhood is known for its colorful historic homes, condos and apartments are also available for rent. Locals flock to independent nightlife spots like Streetside Brewery and Local Post, an old post office turned bar. Columbia-Tusculum’s liveliness is amplified but its active community council hosts multiple events throughout the year including holiday parties, bar crawls, and street festivals. For even more shopping, dining, and entertainment options, residents can easily travel into Downtown Cincinnati, which is only five miles away.
Columbia-Tusculum is located along the Ohio River, so residents have easy access to the outdoors.

Property Ratings at Tusculum View
My sister and I have been trying to reach someone here for weeks. No responses to emails. Calls ring or say they cannot be continued. If there are available places, how are you filling them?? We are very interested and no one can help. So frustrating.
The apartment is in a great location. I lived here for three years and my apartment faces the river. I really enjoy being close to everything. The apartments are older, but maintenance is fast when it comes to addressing issues. The price is great as well.
might be nice, wouldn’t know because they won’t answer the phone (i’ve called MANY times) and won’t return texts. also voicemail box has been full for over a week now. says something about management.
I have been living in this apartment complex for 2.5 years and i love the location! It is close to Downtown, Hyde Park, Mt. Lookout, Oakley etc. Plenty of room for 1-2 people in the apartments and i love the open concept feel of the living/kitchen/dining. The maintenance line is always available and come to fix problems quickly even if it is simple issue. I would recommend this as an affordable option in a great neighborhood! Thumbs up!
For some one who wants to be close to Cincinnati without paying the expensive rent, I'd recommend this apartment complex. I can see downtown Cincinnati and part of the Ohio River from the parking lot, which is neat. It provides easy access to the highways, Mount Lookout, Hyde Park, Oakley, Mariemont and you do not have a lot of traffic noise. The apartments are fairly basic; AC units, range, dishwasher, smoke detector, and hot water. Water and trash are paid for, which is adds to the affordability. I wish the bathrooms were a little more updated as the fixtures are starting to show their age. No major maintenance issues I've encountered since living here. Parking situation is a little tight, my car has a few new door dings since living here, now I park on the street when I am here. Nothing really the management can do about it, if you have a nice car or at least one that you care about...park on the street and walk up the drive...my advice.
For a starter apartment, I had a good experience here. This place was affordable (water included was nice), especially for an expensive area of town. There were a ton of places to walk to (there are sidewalks and good lighting everywhere) and was close to a bike trail. The apartments are older so expect issues that come with older buildings. On the plus side I didn't have large heating/cooling bills. Balconies are not private, but i never really saw my neighbors out, and I always enjoyed eating breakfast out there. I never had major maintenance issues, so not to discount others experiences, but my issues were fixed in one or two days and they always left a note on my doorknob or followed up. I'd recommend this place for people starting out and/or want to live in a trendy neighborhood.
The building is falling apart and nothing is done in regards to fixing up the grounds or apartment units. Bugs get in through the giant cracks in the building no matter how clean you keep the place. Maintenance entered the unit several times without leaving any notice that they were there or what they did and they either did not fix anything or made it worse. The management is completely backwards here. The carpets were stained with cat urine and instead of cleaning the carpets we were offered a cheap air freshener. None of our issues were resolved. Instead, we were told if we didn't feel safe we should just leave. This place is a dump. Please consider spending your money elsewhere because you will really regret signing into a one year lease here.

Our last landlord got fired. Haven't heard or seen any new management. The dryers in our complex don't dry our clothes..have called multiple times about it, but never here back. Walk into any building and it smells like weed and cigarette smoke. This place is really going down hill.
