I just moved in a few days ago and I am loving it! Had a problem with my sink and they came immediately to fix it and the maintenance man was so kind. The apartments are very clean and it is a great place for what you pay for!

I am so happy that I moved back to Union Heights. I had previously moved to another apartment complex across the street and was so disappointed, it was a terrible decision. I was so unhappy there, however after a year I was welcomed back to Union heights by Bobbie and Byron and the amazing staff here. Recently life has been throwing some difficult things my way (as it does) however I feel so blessed and comforted that I have a safe and caring environment for myself and my daughter. This is really a great community to be a part of. I highly recommend Union Heights.

Rent prices are way too high for the condition and size of the apts. Too many fees that were not explained at move in and only answered if asked about them. Have to pay water, light and gas for the amenities even if you don’t use them (example: gym and pool area). Area is nice and quiet and staff is nice.

I just moved in earlier this week and so far everything has exceeded my expectations! No major issues have arisen, other than finding a couple of dings in the apartment during move-in. Maintenance has already been on top of it, which I appreciate a lot! My partner and I love the area, the apartment community, the amenities, and our apartment itself. We are very excited to be here!

I just recently moved in and I have nothing but great things to say! The move in process was a little rough but nothing anyone could do about a leaking pipe in the wall, we had to move in a week later than our planned move in date but it was a breeze. We've already used the pool, hot tub, and gym. The in unit laundry is a huge upside to living here. Everyone that works in the office is super nice and easy to work with!

My experience has been a very good one to say the least ,from the friendly staff that seem to always welcome you with a cheerful greeting and a pleasant smile.A grounds team that makes sure the job is done and done right . And I can never say enough about the respect of the other tenants to make sure to keep noise levels at a minimal, so much so that I find it hard to believe how quiet it is.. Love the attention to detail. Apartment smelled good and was very clean when we walked in for the first time. Ladies at the leasing office are amazingly sweet and nice. Hailey even waited for us to get in from out of state so we could get our keys. Definitely a great welcome experience. Can’t wait to see what this state has to offer. I’m already loving the Mountain View’s from my balcony. Apartments are a bit small from what I was used to but nothing I can’t manage. Very quiet neighborhood.

Community
In three years the staff/ownership has changed a lot. However the current management is the most involved and works on community. Maintenance may take a little while, but man when they get to you, you are their priority and repairs are done. I also appreciate how they keep you posted while on the job.

Terrible.
Make sure you don't leave a crumb on the floor whilst moving out, you will be charged hundreds for it. They do whatever they can to rob you in closing fees. Place was falling apart anyway. 0.4/10

Amazing
The staff here are truly amazing. I’ve been here about 3 months now and I’m extremely impressed. I am very pleased with my apartment as well as the staff here. It was a great choice moving here!

Crooks
A nightmare. Seas of dog poop on every square inch of the grounds (see photos). Overflowing trash cans full of dog poop. Management changed three times in two years. Agreements were jettisoned. Nothing was fixed. We are currently suing for $400 they took from our refundable deposits that they provided exactly zero explanation for.

We understand there was some confusion behind the deposit and cleaning that had taken place in your unit. In Colorado, it is legal to withhold all or part of a security deposit for cleaning. Once you provided our team with a receipt proving that you had the apartment professionally cleaned, we agreed to refund the amount we had withheld. Unfortunately, the condition of the apartment was such that we did not know it had been professionally cleaned and you had not provided us a receipt for the cleaning until after we had already finalized your first refund. We did also provide you with pictures and receipts for all of the damages that you were charged for. We would be more than happy to speak with you again and clarify any outstanding confusion. Has gone downhill terribly since Priderock
Ever since Priderock took over the complex it has gone completely downhill. Maintenance has been “working” on the leak in our ceiling since July, and just today FINALLY got a real Plummer in here. But for almost 6 months now we’ve been paying for a bathroom we can’t use. We’ve asked the manager several times for a rent reduction to make up for not having that bathroom but after promising they would get back to us they never did, now she refuses to even respond to my request. We’ve never had a maintenance request looked at in less than a weeks time. Usually it takes weeks to months to have something fixed. Currently we’ve e had no dishwasher for a week now so I’m betting that won’t be fixed til February... if I’m lucky! I have a toddler with special needs as well as an infant, I do not have time or energy to deal with the incompetence of the staff here.

Very Displeased
I'm completely fed up with this place! Today was the straw that broke the camel's back! Came here to live with my son, and thought it would be a nice place to live. It seemed that way at first at least, until there was a change of management. Have had multiple issues with my on-time payment being NOT being promptly recorded in their system, and requiring me to deal with the "manager" who is a real piece of work herself. When I went to the office, she refused to discuss the issue with me and was even so rude and unprofessional as to tell me to "get out" of her office! What manager would address a tenant like that??? Add to that, the grounds have appeared to be very unkept, with trash all over the ground, cigarette butts and dog crap everywhere! And the staff here Are horrible at clearing the snow in the mornings. I arrived late to work this morning because the walkway in front of my apartment had not been cleared. I ended up slipping and destroying a nice pair of shoes. Had to go back in to change my shoes and tights before trudging through the drifts to get to my car. And this was not the first time for the snow not being cleared either. I am DONE.

Unprofessional Management
Unprofessional Manager Jennifer , I was literary told to get the hell out of the office because I needed an explanation on my bill, she kept yelling "Get out out, Get out!! I guess twice during this time when I try to get her attention in her office, she was constantly on CELL PHONE TEXTS!! I guess they are more important than the tenants ..the overall filth by trash areas and surrouded of the complex and The dog POOP is out of control! Text that all day to your friends !

Awesome place to live!
These guys are the best! I had a few issues pop up outta nowhere....right before Thanksgiving!!! I have family coming over and could not believe my luck. I submitted my issues but was still worried cuz they are coming in TWO days! These guys saved the day, maintenance stepped up big time and fixed one thing already and assured the other would be done by Tuesday. So awesome! I like living here a ton. It's beautiful and the apartments are super nice. We've got kids, dogs and everyone is nice. The staff gets an extra A+. Location is near my work and the kids' school is nice...and close. Could not be a better place to live. Thanks again to the staff for the awesome service. Happy Thanksgiving!

Do not recommend
This is an awful place to live. The new owners are not helpful at all and provide no customer service. There is constant, excessive and intrusive noise from Union blvd. There is daily dog waste all over the lawns. There are monthly billing errors on rent and utility, which are both also excessive. Was ripped off at move out.

Beautiful - Great apartments
This is a beautiful area and the apartments are in a great location. I looked at 3 different apartments and they were all nice. I really liked the one with the fireplace. The leasing office was bustling but I didn't have to wait long and was greeted upon entering. Nice people working in there. The property is seriously beautiful and the views all around are outstanding. So far it's been a delight and I look forward to getting to know the area.

New owner....went down hill
Moved in March, had fabulous staff! great girls in the office and maintenance was good with detail! fast forward to mid summer, new company bought out the complex, got rid of all but 1 employee and things went downhill a bit. It's quite a bit slower if you need something done or have an issues. Girls in the office are pleasant but seem to give excuses for issues that were brought up 2 months ago and never resolved. Grounds seems to not be cleaned up as they had with the prior company that owned the complex. biggest downfall I'd say is that there is ZERO storage for anything in the apartments. still a good location at least.

wonderful staff!
I moved into Union Heights in March 2018. Ashley and Erin work in the office and are nothing but kind and very understanding! it's fairly quiet in this complex [obviously it depends on the tenants occupying next door apartments] pool and hot tub are always clean, large exercise room and a beautiful trail right next to the complex!! If you want to live in a place where you are treated kindly by the workers, close to local stores and the mountains, I highly recommend looking into Union Heights

This place is terrible!
Management sucks. They try to weasle money out of you any way they can. They tell you one thing then act like they don't remember it later and charge you for it. Save yourself the hassle and money and go elsewhere.

Bad Place to Live
The staff here knows nothing. They always have new people, so the staff has no idea how to fill out the paper work. To make things worse, they pretend that they know how to do thing and end up messing it up for you. The staff here do not care about what you need. They are here simply to collect your rent. Do not expect they will help you with anything. Once you sign the contract, you are nobody to them. Please do not come here. You desire a better place.

Never move in this place
This is a horrible place to live in. Their maintenance service is slow and bad. The office people are mean and very impatient. They will find ways to increase your rent and charge you extra money on some crazy stuff. The compound is not safe. There have been several car/apartment break in. This place is always under construction for stupid reasons. They would spend your money redecorating the office than replacing the old appliance in your apartment. There are animals living in your ceiling. These animals would wake you up every morning at 5 am, and the office never did a thing. Do NOT move in! They will rise your rent regardless what they mark on the website. You can find better places in Colorado Springs.

Great Place! May Become Too Expensive
We have been living here for almost two years and we have really liked it. The location is great being close to lots of stores and shopping as well as the main roads. The grounds are very nice and the apartments are well kept and spacious. The club house seems useful enough with a workout room, computer lab and a pool (Although they just began construction on a new pool). I will say that the complex was recently bought by a new management company and I am not sure if I like them yet. They have some new rules that seems sort of silly, such as nothing on your window sills and all curtains have to have white paneling facing out so they all match. They also really don't want you hanging up anything but light picture frames, not even curtains, without permission. With many of the improvements the new management is making we anticipate our rent going up quite a bit a year from now. We currently have a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment with one pet and the rent may very well be close to $900-$1000 next year which more than we are willing to spend. It has been a great place, it was our first home as a married couple and it very much felt like a home, but with the new management it could easily be more expense than it is worth.
