Not many people do stuff around so it gets kinda boring. The RA's hold events but it's usually not that fun to actually do or play. The hot tubwas a great way to meet new people

Amazing!!! Love it here, really nice and comfortable and cheap. Live laugh love because I love this place so much I meet so many new people and friends.

It's alright, I mean for a first-time apartment for a college student, there are worse areas. Most of the time the pipes for water get messy so not hot water, happens every other month. Office workers will be banging on your door loudly, which is always a tick of mine. People who have pets don't clean up after themselves. But I mean, I lived here for three years now, so It could be worse. Only real pro is that everything is included in rent

I love it here! the wifi is horrible but I don't mind paying for it since utilities are included. UTSA PD patrols daily which makes me feel safer. Which is why I have not moved off campus.

I like these apartments, they’re pretty nice and the staff is always very helpful. Though, the maintenance is kind of slow or sometimes doesn’t respond to request.

I've only resided at University Oaks for a little over two months but I can confidently say that I enjoy the overall experience. I particularly like having my own space and having the ability to utilize a fully functional kitchen. The staff has been very helpful and my experiences with interacting with them have all been relatively positive.

Living at University Oaks has been a decent time in the past month and a half. When I first moved in there were a lot of small problems like multiple outlets not working and my toilet not working properly. I submitted work orders for these issues and they seem to not be of enough importance as they were never checked out and ignored while other work orders I placed were taken care of. The apartments are very overpriced for what you get but it is a college apartment. Overall a decent apartment complex that is over market value for less features and no in unit washer and dryer. There are cheaper options that are nicer and do not make you pay for laundry.

it has been good everything is nice, my only complaint is i saw a roach once in our bathroom but we have not seen it since so other than that i enjoy living here and its really affordable compared to other places

University oaks is a great place to start your learning journey. I have just moved here Fall 2024 and I would say it is a safe and friendly place to start off.

I completely regret moving here. If you’re not a local to san antonio to might not be familiar with the other apartments just off campus, but please go there. My current apartment didn’t start out so bad, it was really gross and there was dried paint all over the floor from the landlord special. The place started out smelling strongly of mold so I assume it has mold somewhere inside it, but a good cleaning fixed the place right up. The appliances provided are fairly middle of the road, they’re pretty old but they work for the most part. But the real issue with this place is the infestations. There are roaches everywhere in the kitchen. I’ve done all the at home stuff to get rid of them and they’re still everywhere. The complex exterminators can in and did basically nothing. Even worse, once you sign your lease, there’s no getting out of it. Trust all the other reviews and try somewhere else.

My experience of university of oaks been bad due to the fact the vents are constantly dirty to the point I get severely ill. And the pool is lie looks dirty and old 24/7. They make the apartments look new but it literally looks like I jump through a Time Machine to the 90’s.

The housing is not bad for the price, but the staff has a major issue with communication. The maintenance is often late or unaware of what units are occupied. They are kind enough, but seem to not understand how most residents are busy and can not restructure our lives around their miscommunication problems. Me and my roommate had many issues moving units over the summer to the point we almost moved out completely because of the staffs inability to communicate properly. Overall I would only recommend living here if you need a cheap place.

Had a cricket problem for a bit but all good now, Some issues with the shower as well, the dishwasher was full with old water from the last tenant that made a horrible smell, but as long as you let maintenance know all issues will be resolved

Great apartment for a college student, host many community activities for all residents, very understanding to residents needs (ex. they have free groceries once a week) and laundry room is always clean and in order.

The place is relatively nice (there is running water and electricity.) The main problems are the bugs and wi-fi, which is ok on a good day and absent on others.

The wifi is troublesome- always coming on and off and overall not great connection. There are lots of bugs, and it's not the cleanest, some stains I still have trouble removing. Great staff, good location, & convenient.

Overall pretty nice. It was kinda grimy when we first moved in , but some cleaning took care of that. The stove things don’t fit correctly on the burners, but two of them work.

while there are a couple of ants here or there, and maybe a cricket, the pest control is free and basically on call, not to mention the freebies UOaks gives you for the very low prices. the oven and stove provide are decent enough and have made themselves useful dozens of times. It ain't living in a mansion, but its exactly what I wanted and a little more than expected.

I love my apartment and my roommates. The survey university oaks gives out before you move in works if you take it seriously! I would love to dorm here again for college. Thankfully it’s still my freshman year so I got a lot more time here to enjoy this.

I have a good experience and it fun to hang out with friends meet new people and get to enjoy the cool, amazing fun events that they host and being able to chill in the pool.

it’s a nice place to live with a nice community. The people are nice and there are always opposites here to get you right on track. Like my favorite is when they have a free grocery day

I have had plenty of issue but I think the staff has dealt with them well. However this is not what I thought I was moving into. The rooms are not all the same but you take what you can get.

It’s been really good, it’s very quite at night not much activity going on. However, the water pipes are pretty loud which isn’t a big deal but can get annoying. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming I haven’t had a run in with someone who wasn’t.

The apartments themselves are pretty fine! Some cosmetic issues here and there but nothing horrible. I've had no poor experiences with neighbors other than noise. Staff have always been nice.

Pretty chill place. Had many issues with pest management. Appliances are outdated. Only good part of the apartment is we don't have to pay for utilities.

Its been good but I wish wifi was better and it was a bit cleaner. When I moved in my apartment was disgusting. Also my bike got stolen from my porch.

First year living here and I will be living somewhere else next year. Just a very not kept up apartment every thing was dirty and worn down when I first moved in and it wasn’t replaced when asked. I’ve had many problems and when I’ve called about it no one really cared until it became a bigger problem. Just ready to live in somewhere nicer and cleaner.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience living here. The management team is responsive and genuinely cares about residents’ needs. The amenities are well-maintained, and the community is friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient, with easy access to shops and public transport. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment complex for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable living environment.

Great at fostering events to get new students involved, and has weekly grocery help. The floors are a bit thin but that’s with any apartment. Overall great for first time renters.

it’s not the absolute best quality but it’s good for college living. apartments are walking distance from utsa. pet friendly and very accommodating. maintenance comes within the same day of putting in a request.

Apartments are outdated. Low quality appliances and slow WiFi. Have to pay for laundry. But other than that fine for a cheap housing option.

This is my first apartment but I like it a lot the whole space is really nice and clean and the apartments themeselves look pretty good, and in a pretty safe place with a lot to do around

All in all University Oaks has proven to be a great provider of accommodation. They have the most friendly staff and RA's and a plethora of benefits for their residents!

It's been really nice! I'm a first year student and it's been really lovely, everyone is super nice. I love my unit and haven't had any issues so far.

University Oaks has been great so far. Great area and awesome workers. Very convenient for students who haven’t brought vehicles as well. All around amazing experience so far.

I personally love UOaks. I have never really had a huge problem with living here. I’m new to San Antonio and it’s kind of hard for me to settle into unfamiliar places, but I felt at home as soon as I got here.

I like it the maintenance responds fast. The community is nice. I like how they let us have pets i enjoy seeing the animals. The surroundings are really pretty I enjoy seeing them.

Sometimes matnince doesn’t do their job.i like the apartments and the community but some stuff could have been easily fixed before we moved in.

Good, clean facilities, but some items were missing when I moved in. And whenever I have a maintenance request it has been fixed quickly. However, the staff could be a bit more helpful at times.

Not great at all. There are so many problems with my apartment, and they have not been fixed despite me asking people to fix them multiple times. It is not my responsibility to fix the building that I didn't damage in the first place. Very frustrating.

Staying at University Oaks has been great from the start. Even though there were minor issues with the rooms and bathrooms, maintenance came immediately and fixed the issues. Customer service reps are awesome. The RAs are also awesome. Love it

I’ve had an amazing time during my stay at University Oaks! I love the neighborhood feel and enjoy meeting new friends. My RA creates some amazing community activities that foster connections and creativity. I’ve made some of my closest friends this semester at University Oaks and I can’t wait to be back next year!

So far my experience has been okay, started off with a lot of bug/roaches. As well as my wifi connection not allowing me to do my homework at home. But overall its not that bad, just kind of going with the flow.

Alot was broken and dirty when we moved in. There was dirt and bugs everywhere and we had to wait 5 hours for the cleaning crew to help with the black mold. Then we had to clean black mold as well, and now we have roaches after all we've tried to clean

I quite like the apartments. There's a garbage disposal, the AC works really well. My biggest thing is there's no overhead fans, not enough parking for the middle buildings, and the gate no longer closes at night.

Solid apartment if you want something close to utsa that isn’t the dorms. Only downside is paying for laundry which kinda sucks. Other than that it’s not bad

It’s pretty good I love my neighborhood and it’s very friendly. What I most like about living in this apartment is the amount of space I have for my own. I also like how well treated the staff has been with me.

University Oaks is a very good and safe place to live. Very family friendly as well. The only thing is I’m just around noisy neighbors in phase 3.

My experience living here so far has been really good. Everyone around here has been nice and really helpful. The RAs have explained all the rules.

Overall you get what you pay for here, rents cheap but the entire place is 30 years outdated, you will have to call at least once to get your ac fixed. Oh and the WiFi here suckkkssss, buy your own. But it’s the cheapest apartments in the area and it’s on utsa campus basically. The people are plenty nice it’s just an old building
