The city of Orange is a fantastic example of what resident love about Southern California. With an equal balance of laidback SoCal character, plus all the charm of a small town, Orange has an appeal all its own.
The city’s Old Town District features numerous antique homes, many dating back over a century — this gives the area a sense of living history that is unique among communities in this region. The area surrounding Orange Plaza Square serves as the city’s downtown district, with an eclectic mix of boutique shops, specialty restaurants, and other small businesses in a walkable, open-air layout. Chapman University calls the area home, making it a perfect spot for a college apartment or first-time rental.
The Hilbert Museum of California Art is one of the city’s most popular cultural institutions, featuring paintings, sculptures, and other installations uniquely inspired by the Golden State.

Property Ratings at Village Terrace
I enjoyed my time living at Village Terrace. I really didn't have any issues, but management was very responsive whenever I had questions or needed anything. You couldn't ask for a quieter, more peaceful neighborhood. Parking was also a breeze.
I have been here for a little over 2 years. The neighborhood is great and everyone is super friendly. Andrea and Norman (the apartment managers) have been really friendly and are always friendly. Whenever there is an issue, they are quick to respond and to resolve it.
We lived here for 5 years, had both of our kids here, and only moved because we needed more space for our kids. But during our time at VT, we made great friends including the on-site manager, her husband, and the on-site maintenance. Every request we made was addressed in a timely manner and with care and grace from management. We would highly recommend VT to young professionals, young couples and families who love Orange, enjoy walking to the Circle and having the opportunity to make good friends with great neighbors.
Poor management, old building with old fixtures, owner never wants to replace anything but rent goes up yearly. Was told on multiple occasions that the owners say they won’t fix anything unless it’s for new tenants. The managers are almost never available and the male manager is rude. Gave up on having broken things repaired as they break again within a few months.
