Huntington Place is a collection of subdivisions on either side of Vance Jackson Road. This neighborhood is located on the east side of I-10, about 10 miles northwest of Downtown San Antonio. Commuters taking I-10 can reach the city in less than 20 minutes, making it an attractive option for those seeking a quieter, more suburban lifestyle near the heart of San Antonio. For those who prefer car-free commutes, mass transit is also available.
While no shops or restaurants are available within the residential area, Huntington Place is close to a variety of shops just outside the neighborhood. Along Frontage Road to the northwest, residents will find several popular chain stores and restaurants, along with an H-E-B grocery store. Another shopping complex, Huebner Oaks Center, is located to the south of the neighborhood along Huebner Road. Property Ratings at Vistas of Vance Jackson Apartments
You might think you have finally found an affordable, spacious, centrally located apartment that you can love. Run away and run far. You will get your car towed even if you have tags displayed. You will get your car broken into. Maintenance is incredibly ineffective. Extreme lack of parking. Very dirty neighbors with dog crap everywhere. An incredibly unfriendly and unforgiving management team. Oh yea... And they don't respond on their emergency line. That's why when there is an actual dangerous problem the police or the fire department get called there multiple times. If you don't mind all of this and still think you want the "good deal" you think you've found, then just know that you did it to yourself. Every bad thing that you are about to experience while living there is something you have done to yourself by not caring. I wish you luck.

I have no bugs or pests. My neighbors are super quiet. When I go to the office Rose Marie is always quick to help me. While she’s not friendly she is eerily efficient. This is my first apartment I applied with Jeanine & she was very helpful too. I admit I did read the reviews & it kinda made me rethink but I decided to give it a go. It was worth it!! I couldn’t be happier.

Called for mold this morning at 10:30 and was told by the front office that the maintenance would be here by 11:00. Waited 4 hours and called back to get the answering person that told me there was no note of my apartment needing maintenance, I have severe at asthma and allergies to mold. The office was made aware of that. Considering leaving the apartment. I don’t recommend anyone choosing these apartments as a place to call home.

I have lived in these apts for about 7 months, i love my apartment itself and price is alright. But there is NO way to EVER speak to anyone in person about an issue. the office is NEVER open during its designated office hours, the girl working at the desk is very passive agressive, and makes you feel like a burden for needing to pick up a package or if you have questions. I wanted to moved my parking spot which i pay $40 a month for because i felt the person next to me was going to clip my car. they absolutely would not let me move my spot, and less than a week later my car got hit by the person next to me. I had also been trying to pick up a package before for over a week, and couldnt because the office was closed without notifcation on almost everyday, for the whole day. My biological medication that needs to be refridgerated has been left out unreported several times even after i had called specifically about the package. I am so sick and tired of this place not doing their jobs and making me waste my time trying to figure out when theyll actually do their job instead of playing possum.

I hate living here and I’m counting down the days till my lease is up. Maintenance is awful. I’ve had request pending since May for a new kitchen light because it does not work, my microwave has been broken since July, the roach infestation is horrible, dumpster are always overflowing, and even my small request like new air filter have not been completed. My ceiling fan has been hanging on by the wires for weeks now and although I’ve contacted the front office and corporate nothing has been done. I’ve been very patient because I understood there was a high turnover rate but when I’m afraid to go to sleep because the fan hanging above my bed is hanging on my a wire and every time I’ve contacted them they say that they “will send someone right over” and nobody ever comes. I do not recommend these apartments.

1. We were told to collect every cockroach we killed in the apartment and tape it to a piece of paper to prove there were bugs because they didn’t believe us when we said the apartment was infested. 2. We were told to put a bucket under a leak to contain it because they weren’t sending anyone out to fix the leak for a while. By the time they came there was water damage they had to fix, and in doing that they ransacked our bathroom and got paint on our shower curtain and towels. 3. They randomly deactivated everyone’s gate clicker without warning, and we couldn't enter the complex. They said they didn't have to notify us because having gate codes was a “privilege [they were] not required to provide” – even though it meant residents were stranded outside at night with no way to get in. 4. Around 8 wasps a day were getting into our bedrooms and they did nothing for MONTHS despite repeated requests. They finally sent someone to look at the windows, didn’t find where the wasps were getting in, but declared they “did their part” and we never heard from them about it again. 5. Not enough parking for each resident. Guaranteed spots are extra. There is no parking within walking distance. Rumor has it the old manager (Monica) got kick-backs from the towing company – they would hang out at the complex, tow residents parking in covered spots, and bring her a cut of the money for every car. 6. They don’t respond to emails, or check voicemails, or look at service requests unless you call and ask them to print it out and give it to maintenance, and then they won’t contact you for days, randomly show up at your apartment and leave no notice to let you know that they’ve been there or what they did (or more likely, didn’t do) to solve your problem. We tried to address the issues with the front office but after you’ve signed your lease they don’t care. They are in turns rude, aggressive, dismissive, and insulting. You will have your legitimate problems brushed aside, treated with contempt, and ignored. Each time we reached out about concerns we were told we were at fault for the problem, they didn’t believe the problem was real, or they hadn’t looked at our service request. We contacted Sunridge Management about the issues and received no response. It starts at the top, and obviously Sunridge doesn’t care about the horrendous conditions either. If you are thinking about living here because the apartments are cheap, there are a million others. This place is a trash fire.

Hi & thanks for the feedback. We would love to follow up with you directly to discuss the topics mentioned. Please give us a call at 210-877-1195. Our goal is to provide the best customer service that we can & provide a great community to come home to. In regards to pest control, we encourage everybody to let us know if there are pests in the apartment so that we can have pest control out to treat the problem. We have never asked anybody to tape dead bugs to paper & bring it in. Our pest control service may request a sample if they are trying to identify a type of pest to know how best to treat for it. If you have a leak in your apartment, but it is not a flooding leak and only a small drip, maintenance will not come after hours to repair the leak but will come the following day. If the leak was a major leak, of course emergency maintenance would come after hours. About our gate remotes, they come programmed from a vendor directly and we do not have the ability to deactivate them. They are battery operated and sometimes those do need to be replaced, but we replace them for free in the office. Parking can be tight at our community, and we are currently working to add additional parking spots and expect that to be completed by the end of the year or first part of January. We do have reserved parking available that many residents utilize and find very convenient. As parking can be tight, we do tow unauthorized vehicles or vehicles blocking reserved parking spaces. There is no kick back from the towing company and are just trying to ensure that our residents have a spot to park in when they come home. If there is ever a maintenance request or issue that you want to discuss, you can call the office and speak with the manager. They are more than happy to spend time improving your experience at Vistas of Vance Jackson and addressing any concern that you have.

They don't make you feel welcome when it comes to first impressions. 5. Nobody in the office wants to do their job until you want to speak to higher up.

Our prices change daily, however when a prospect is given a quote, it is good for 48 hours and shows all rental rates for the move-in prorate & the monthly rate throughout the lease. If an apartment is not leased within the quote time frame, the pricing can change. We do strive to provide a great place to come home to & give great customer service. This place is absolutely ridiculous they don't even have enough parking for their residents. I came home at 11pm one night and there is not a single space to park in not even outside of the gates. But there sure are a lot of empty carports available but if I was to park in one they sure would tow me wouldn't they. What exactly am I supposed to do go park at HEB and then walk all the way back. It's not like I would be able to call my roommate to come pick me up because then he would lose his space also. Maybe I could call a cab do you think the apartment complex would reimburse for that??? Not likely!!! All the office management says its not really their fault that its the property owners fault because that is how they set up the property to have a lot of paid parking. I feel lied to, at no time when I was looking at this place was I told about the parking issue or that our friends and family couldn't park on the property as well. But I guess this is probably falling on deaf ears in fact I doubt anyone from sun ridge or whoever owns this property will see this nor will they care and the only thing office management will say is. Would you like to purchase a car port? Yes the rent is reasonable yes its on the NW side of San Antonio. But if you like your friends or family to visit you, if you like to be able to actually park ON THE ACTUAL PROPERTY!!!! LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!! But then again that is probably why the rating for this place is currently a 1.9 rating out of 5. But like I said its not like anyone from the property cares otherwise someone from sun ridge or whoever would have done something about by now. This is probably falling on deaf ears. But hopefully others will see this before they even visit this property. And before the office management says anything about how this property is almost always full. I wonder how many long term residents (more than 3 years)they actually have probably not many. I can tell you this unless something changes we won't be one of them. This place also has one of the highest water bills I have seen for a two bedroom apartment almost 70 dollars a month!!! that's outrageous

Took over a month to fix a leak/sink hole just feet from a building, no parking at all, rude management service people and they do nothing about the loud people above me complained about many times. Trashy place, worst place I have ever lived
