Baytown presents a thriving residential area with an emphasis on family life. This community offers a balance between a quiet suburban lifestyle and the energetic ambition that comes with ample business opportunities. Speaking of – the city’s economy relies strongly on petroleum production.
Located by the water, Baytown’s Houston Ship Channel is one of the neighborhood’s biggest attractions. The nearby nature center is a sight to see and home to hundreds of land and aquatic animal species. When you’re not at home in your apartment, the Downtown Arts District has a number of culture programs like the Baytown Little Theatre, which has been run exclusively by volunteers for over 50 years.
In the event you’re not outside enjoying the bay views, you might be shopping at the San Jacinto Mall or lavishing in the comforts of your Baytown home.

Property Ratings at Aria at Rollingbrook
The location is superb, and the staff's exceptional service truly enhances the experience. Maintenance issues are handled swiftly.
My air conditioner needed work over the weekend on Sunday office was closed but on Monday they got to me very quickly I love these apartments it’s almost a year I’ve been here never fails when you have a problem thank you Chrystal and sam
Because they have a very clean and organized are very recommended
i remember i use to live here, horrible. they lost multiple of my packages, especially a $400 package i needed.
We are currently going on our third AND FINAL year here at Aria. We also moved in when it was still called Watercolor & some parts were still under construction. We have never had any issues and have always liked it here. Although the new Aria staff has made strides in improving some areas, such as the pool & offering washer/dryers to units that have none. It seems that the quality of residents in the complex has gone down. I am noticing more and more people hanging out/crowding the stairs & blasting music as if they do not have their own private patio to hang out in. The smell of marijuana often fills our breeze way here recently, mixed with the smell of trash, because the trash collectors are not coming every scheduled day as planned. My fiance & I both had our vehicles broken into within the span of 3 months & what would you know, the only cameras available are pointing to entrance/exit gates.. I understand we are very close to the notorious Northwood area, but these issues have just arisen so either they are just letting any and everyone move in now, or current residents have some very unwelcome visitors in the area. Either way, this will be our last year we stay here. If we wanted to smell marijuana and have our cars broken into we would have moved across the street not in these "Luxury" apartments.
The management are always rude when you have questions or concerns to do with the apartment and the facilities. For the price your paying they are poorly built and always have some type of issue. Their sad excuse of a dog park is nothing but a retention pond that's full of water, mud, and mosquitoes. This was one of the reasons I moved there expecting to have a place for my dogs to run around but of course due to the terrible condition it was never used. I'm sure the dog park is part of that expensive monthly rent but they could care less that it can't be used. Also they bump up your rent every time your lease ends by $100 without any explanation other than that's what the cost is now. So glad to be out of that place I can't even tell you. Spend your money down the road at one of those other "Luxury" apartments where you get your monies worth!
The good is that they are new so when we moved in we were the first ones so no crazy smells or damages. The staff is nice and helpful. The bad, i know you cant choose your neighbors but ever since we moved in (1yr ago) the people below us love to party and play their music so loud all night and even in the mornings. We've had to call the police a couple of times because thats how loud they are and its almost every weekend. We wanted to move apartment buildings but that wouldve cost almost $300 just to move to a different apartment here. (they charge a transfer fee). We have had problems with our kitchen sink ever since we moved in. Maintenance said that the people who built the apartments rushed and didn't do a good job making sure everything was ready. My car has been broken into twice and has been hit (parked) twice. The parking is horrible. The fitness center is always dirty and never straightened up. I guess thats the price you have to pay when living at apartments but we cant wait to move out. We are doing month to month now and we still have to give a 60 day notice, crazy! The only positive i guess is the staff (Kim) is very nice and helpful
My 12 yr. old son and I are current residents. We've been here since October, 2015. We have a 3rd floor, two bedroom. I've read some of the reviews. We live above one of the problem families mentioned. To be clear, while there are not six boys living in one apartment, it has at times felt that way because it must be a preferred spot to "hang". It's rented by a single mom that's not always at home and her 20 something son. He's the big problem. But my observation has been that management has dealt with it and things have calmed down. And, let's be fair. Your the leasing agent, you're tasked with filling the property while trying to ensure that you don't fill the property with undesirables -- i.e., people that behave in such a way as to cause stress, strife and endangerment for others, consistently over time. It's not easy. If I could subtract that one family from the equation, I would have no complaints and I'd give this place a 5 star rating. The property manager is gracious, accommodating, and professional. I've had heavy packages delivered and the front office has had them brought up to my apartment. The maintenance and grounds staff look out for residents and are tremendously kind and polite. I am recently divorced. I haven't lived in an apartment since my early 20's. I'm 50 now. And I've been reminded there are pros and cons to every situation. You will always have lots of neighbors. You will never be able to control for that. Yes, rent is higher here than other areas. Yes, you are entitled to a certain level of expectation for higher price points. But, come on. It's an apartment complex. It's not going to be built to higher-end residential standards. I've given some time to this because I wish I could have found some balanced reviews that took some time to address points brought up in other comments. Moving from out of state, to an area I was not familiar with, new job, new schools, new environment -- it would have been helpful to have found some insight here and there that had a little more detail. So, if you've read this far, I hope this has been a help to you.
Every apartment in Texas is Required a 60 day Notice . I have lived here since MARCH 20,2015 I moved from the Woodlands I read over my contract ,if you haven't then do so, its easy ,its your responsibility not theirs commons to your brain for once , My neighbors are kind and very Welcoming the Staff at the office are kind, very helpful I've been to other apartments in Houston where I was paying almost $3000.00 for a 2x2 verses half here ,people all they do is complain over small things and the big picture is that you might be miserable with your life grow up and take responsibility of your own actions. I am glad I moved here not going anywhere for a while Thanks to the office staff making me feel right at home .
The apartments are new,but poorly built, door frames and cabinets are warped, paper thin walls and leaky faucets in the bathroom and kitchen. Another turn off is the countless hidden fees, they try their best to nickel and dime you to death here. They expect a 60 day notice before you leave even on month to month agreements. Don't expect your deposit back. Worst of all, if you Leave before your 60 notice you pay for the following 60 days after you leave, even if someone moves into your previous apartment. These people are flat out thieves through and through. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.
This place is still under construction, my building is one of the few that are up and running. Everything is new of course. its located in the heart of Baytown, Tx. really close to the highway and the main road of the city. located conveniently by some really tasty restaurants. Although not alot of bang for your buck when discussing square footage.. but very nice.
WaterColor Luxury Apartments is very nice. I love it here. Floor plans are one of the best I have seen since in a while. The people there are very respectful. Anytime I needed help, I go to the front office and ask for help and I get just that. Very helpful and caring people. I love it here. Veronica and Kim are some awesome people. They have a, pool, in house gym area, car wash center and luxury club house . They even have a service to pick up your trash. You don't even have to take out your own trash to the dumpster. They do it for you. Like Wow. Who else is doing this. No one. I would tell anyone to rent here. Most importantly I feel safe here. They have an security grand every night watching the area. That's a big plus. Peaceful and safe area to live. Security cameras are watching at all times.
I've been living here since March 25th.2015 it's been a great experience I love it here .Office staff is great and friendly. I don't have any problems with my apartment I pay 1459.00 for a 2x2 very well spent will my House is getting built. I am a clean person so I don't have no bug problems.Love the 24 hour gym and the Dog park that Is being built. No complaints I highly recommend living here.
I have lived here for two months now. Veronica (assistant manager) is HORRIBLE!! Every time I go in, it's something else. She told me they only offer 12 month leases when they offer 3 month and 6 month(the one I needed). She always thinks she is better than people and acts like the one in charge. Also, we have had problems with our neighbors. In one two bedroom apartment there are 6 boys around the age of 18 that live there. My nephew in HIGH SCHOOL said that one boy is a drug dealer! They stole stuff off my balcony, WHILE I WAS HOME!! I have told Veronica countless times how horrible they are and she thinks they do no wrong! If I had the choice I want to move apartments because I dont feel safe with those children living there and knowing which apartment I live in.
I pay 1,009 a month for a one bedroom apartment, so I expected it to be great. Come to find out they rushed to build the apartment so things fall apart. Our first day the handle to our fridge and laundry room fell off, our floors leak, our bathtub faucet was to short and we have a bad ant problem. We have a newborn son and he is getting torn up by ants, they have exterminated our apartment 3 times. I can't wait to move.
