Recognized as one of America’s most historic neighborhoods, Germantown dates back centuries all the way to 1683. Even though it’s one of the oldest settlements in the city, Germantown has a relaxed and friendly vibe about it.
And speaking of its historic vanity – the Cliveden Estate’s backyard was the site of the 1777 Battle of Germantown. Along its main thoroughfare, a 2.5-acre rose garden flourishes with brightly-colored blooms at the Wyck House. Locals gather at the Johnson House – which was a stop on the Underground Railroad – to join in the Juneteenth Festival. The Revolutionary Germantown Festival is held every October and features reenactments of the Battle of Germantown.
Outside of their affordable apartments, locals can be found exploring Fernhill Park or dining at delicious eateries. Locals look forward to easy commutes to work by way of two SEPTA rail lines.

Property Ratings at Wayne Manor Apartments
Management is unavailable and unresponsive. Can’t leave a message because voicemail is always full. No email contact available. A bunch of patchwork is done instead of actual repairs and maintenance. You’d be wasting your money. Constant tripping of electrical circuits. Rodent issue. You name it. Steer clear!
This place is the worst place to move at. There is no parking ever you pay all this money for rent and have to park far away. Maintenance never answer the phone or return your phone calls. The heat never really works. They have a terrible rodent problem. Mice in the winter and waterbugs in the summer you can’t win. Never again !!!
This is a very cool spot to live at and call home. Lots of large windows, hardwood floors , high ceilings, cool little architectural details and OH the bathtubs -they're deep... they're the older, larger, soak and submerge your whole self into kind of deep. They don't make them like that anymore and this is part of what adds to Wayne Manor's appeal. This building has been around for a while but it is maintained pretty well by onsite staff. It is a low-key gem! 2 blocks from Lincoln Drive, right near Tulpehocken station, near the trails and creek, short sprint up to Chestnut hill. Neighbors respectful and pleasant, some even nice. Now that I bought a house I wish I was living in an apartment again and not dealing with lawns, maintenance, oh and how about mowing lawns, snowy sidewalks, trash and utility bills....all utilities included in your monthly rent. Recommend highly.
