Beware any changes on move-in day.
I had been shown a nice apartment in a senior housing building. I liked the size, the layout, and the view. But the manager said that we would fill out all the papers on move-in day. I had everything I own in a truck outside by the elevator. She brings out the paperwork and its a different apt number! She said. "Don't worry. All the apartments are the same." So I signed. Woe is me! Upstairs the apt is half the size of the other one. But what was I going to do? I had no place else to go. So I'm looking for another apartment.
