If you are like most of us around here and cannot afford to buy a house, and need a place to call home….. Western Terrace is the place for you! I have lived here for a few years and have had a great experience! The office staff is friendly, professional and always available when I need something. The Maintenance staff are very hard workers and do a great job at fixing things in a timely manner! This place is located in a not so great area, but the way they make you feel at home makes it worth it! Thank you Western Terrace for making this a great experience!

Do you like mold in your apartment? Do you like mounds and mounds of dog crap, I mean a lot of dog crap even on the sidewalks? Do you want neighbors that tell you their pit bull is "not that aggressive" (pit bulls are a prohibited bread in the lease by the way). Would you like the smell of marijuana coming through the walls? How about homeless camped in cars at the entrance of the complex? Or rude office staff that roll their eyes at you when you put in a repair request? How about in the winter, it's colder inside than outside? If you are looking for all these, Western Terrace is the place for you!

This is a quiet community with basic ammenities like a pool and fitness center, as well as washer/dryer connections. There is no air conditioning, but window units are allowed. Lots of people have pets around here. the maintenance staff does a pretty good job keeping up with the property and any repairs that are needed. The office staff is pretty nice. For the price, i think its worth it. my favorite part is teh fireplace in my apartment.

Ok, I don't usually write reviews but this one is needed. There is mold everywhere. They paint over it but after a month or so it's very visible. You are asked to sign a form saying the owner is not held responsible but it is the owners fault. Water leaks from everywhere and they can't fix it or just don't want to. There is mold on the 9 ft ceilings and I am expected to scrub it with bleach and take care of it. On top of that, they threaten you with fines that are absolutely ridiculous. The price is low compared to other apartments but it is not worth potentionally your health to save some money.

This place is great for the price. Very quiet community with experienced and efficient maintenance and groundskeeping. the office staff has been extremely friendly and helpful to me. I would give this place 5 stars if they had AC built in, but I was able to bring my own window AC and their maintenance staff even installed it for me. Love having a washer and drying in my apartment too, and the location is central, very easy to get to work.

I hate this apartments worst place ever Maintenance sucks!! They take forever to fix any problem in your apartment, but the worst part is the manager, she is very disrespectful and unprofessional, the washer and dryer are small and old sometimes my clothes stay wet after trying the dryer 5 times is ridiculous, everything inside the apartment is low quality, everything brake easily, the closet doors always fall down, is always bugs and spider, and I’m super clean, they got people of landscaping cleaning the streets and my car got damage with a rock and guess what the manager told me ? Nothing that she can do about it.

I’ve never hated an apartment complex as much as I have hated the Western terrace apartments. I would give this a zero if possible. Where to begin 1. You get towed for the stupidest reasons, such as not having your permit on the right side of the windshield. If your permit happens to fall into the car floor, guess what? Still getting towed. And you have to pay $500 every time your car gets towed! $500!!! Friends and family will most likely be towed! 3 You will be tuned for not having your heater at a certain temperature! 2. Management is incredibly disrespectful and always regards everything as your fault! They told me my parking permit falling onto the ground was my fault and that I would still have to pay the $500!!! 3. Maintenance is always incredibly late! My shower head was not working well, and it took THREE WEEKS for maintenance to come fix it! 4. The washing machines seem to come from the 1950s. And even though management said they’d be replaced, it’s been over two years and thus far, nothing has changed. 5. This neighborhood is not the safest. I have heard gun shots numerous times since living here. RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM WESTERN TERRACE. The hassle is just not worth it. Management seems to thrive off of milking you of every last penny you have.
If I could give no stars, I would. They will cheat you out of $500 by towing your car wrongfully and blaming you for it. We had our parking permit on the window, but because of temperature changes, the adhesive is weak and it fell onto the front passenger seat of our car (still visible, we had picture evidence...). The towing company this apartment hires didn't care to look at the seat and towed our car for no permit. When we asked them to walk us to the car (to show them our permit was rightfully there), they refused and demanded money. We hoped management would be understanding and address this issue (with their partnered towing company) since it was not our fault the permit sticker they gave us had weak adhesive and fell in the night. However they blamed us for it and instead ignored our pleas and basically said if we don't like the parking policy, we can leave. We tried contacting the regional manager but they ignored all our inquiries. Honestly, I hope this review helps warn other hardworking people to be careful if you are planning to stay here because this could happen to anyone. Your parking permit could slip off the window and the next thing you know, you owe $200/500 (thats more than half of the rent/month..) so you have no car to get to work and can struggle to pay rent next month, hoping to god your permit sticker doesnt fall off again.
I'll try it again. I have lived here for almost three years, and in that time I had never had one complaint. Up until about three months ago. The new people above us have no respect at all for apartment living. They have a small child that they let run wild, sounds like they are bowling at times, I have called the office several times and they always say they will take care of it, but it continues. My next door neighbor is doing daycare for several families, I wanted to babysit too, but our lease says we can not run a business out of our apartments. I would love to be moved to a different unit on the top floor, but that will cost me $150.00! If the ones causing the noise don't want to move, move me for free, I am willing to do that. We moved here when my husband retired, and it was so peaceful at first. That's all I want again. As far as the maintenance aspect, they are very punctual and good guys! If you have a problem, they are Johnny on the spot. It is not gated, because the lock on the door leading to and from the park is broken. There have been homeless people going through our dumpsters and looking through cars. Kinda scary when you have to leave early and you see someone going through our dumpster. Sketchy!
Had some problems with the carpet but was rectified in a short period, staff is friendly and grounds and maintenance is excellent!
These apartments are very efficient in all access to your personal utopia(s). You might not ever consider leaving as the warmth grows just beyond the entry gates and your own domain. the surrounding area is an artistic funk .Thus, you must implore to be a beacon and not harm the demo graphs with tainted treachery .In other words...... "This is a world within its own realm(s)"
I've lived in this complex for a little over 4 years now. This is actually my "fourth" apartment in this complex because every now and then, I just like a change in scenery! Considering the fact that everything surrounding this complex is a little "iffy" at times, I still like it. Gated community with security at night, Landscaping is very nice and theirs a park towards the rear when I decide to take a walk with my girlfriend. The Community also offers a pool, hot tub, computer lab and gym. The location is very convenient to shopping, schools, jobs, the bus line, highway and military base. I currently rent a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom for 770 a month. Prices tend to increase on the fast side, but for what you get, its still a little cheaper than most complexes in town. Decent spread living room with fireplace, built in bookshelf (top floors get vaulted ceilings), kitchen comes with dishwasher, sink grinder, spacey cabinets and a coat closet being that my kitchen is right next to the front door. Both bedrooms come with closets as well (with some units offering walk-ins) and one window, which is a pretty good size. Also an added plus for me, is the hallway that separates the two rooms and the living room. My bathroom offers two sinks and a giant mirror that goes across the whole wall. This proves very useful so I don't have to share with the Mrs.!!! The balcony is my favorite. The living room has a huge sliding glass door that opens right up to my grill and some fresh Colorado air! It stretches the whole backside of my apartment and includes a small storage closet for knicks and knacks. Even though I miss seeing the mountains from my balcony, being able to overlook the parking situation to see my car from time to time does prove to be helpful and gives my visitors a peace of mind. I've had to have some work done on my apartment a few times and overall the maintenance crew does a great job! Living here for as long as I have sometimes I have to remind them about an order I've placed recently, but whether or not the job would get done was never really a question. The leasing staff is fantastic! I've had the pleasure of knowing the Property Manager, since the day I decided to become a tenant. All are very polite, well spoken and willing to take time to make sure your needs are met! Overall I can say that my experience with Western Terrace is one that I can definitely appreciate. After all, I've been here over four years ha ha!
perfect place for my family.amazing view of pikes peak from my balcony.i enjoy the peace and quiet.outstanding staff and maintence the grounds around the complex are well maintened and very clean.we feel safe here being in a gated community.very nice pool area and gym for the residents.a much better place and nicer apartment then the one we used to live in at another complex.added bonus a fireplace.you can't go wrong living here
