Property Ratings at Westgate Village Apartments
I moved in on September 28th, 2018 and haven’t felt more at home anywhere else until I moved here into Westgate. The property manager Tonia was very warm and hospitable torwards my needs for I am 100% blind. She answered every question and told me if I ever needed anything at all she would be the first one to accommodate. I would recommend anybody looking for a quiet, friendly staffed neighborhood to get a place here.
I have been living in Westgate Village for 32 months. At age 70, I find this a pleasant place to live; not too noisy, good maintenance on older buildings, adequate lighting of grounds and parking lots, helpful people in the office and in maintenance. The pool, which I really appreciate, is kept sparkling clean. Within easy walking distance are a storage facility, a fire station, grocery store, fast foods, gas station, and the Greenway path. I don't plan to move again. AKA
Do not recommend. I have lived here 6 months and already had to have work done 3 times. The pipe to the bathroom burst and got water in one of the bedrooms; the toilet leaked, and water was leaking from the ceiling in my basement apartment. They charge for all utilities on top of rent. Which was misleading. They determine what you pay based on what the entire building uses. Again, misleading. I chose to live here because of the lower rent, but with having to pay all utilities I pay closer to $900 instead of $700. Maintenance is awful when you need them. And, they don’t shovel the snow! The sidewalks are covered in snow and ice. Awful.
