Property Ratings at Wincoram Commons
The apartments are horrible poorly constructed you can hear everything the person does on top of you the management is nasty they will threaten to evict you for the littlest thing the porters are nasty not all the do is drive around and watch everything you do then report you to the office the whole building needs to be shut down how do you call it income based apartment but you try to run it like the rits hotel I WOULDNT WANT MY DOG TO LIVE HERE PLACE IS A SLUM
I moved from one horrible place, to a nightmare. Police are always here, people from the local shopping mall hanging around at night, men jumping out the woods with pipes, not only that there are drugs, and drug bust, and you would think the office staff would be of help when you have a concern, not at all the answer for everything is call the police, the police are sick of this place and sick of coming here, they need better management because what they have now is a office staff the do not have the common sense of a five year old, this is a horrible place and I would not recommend it to anyone that wants to live in peace and enjoy live, this is not the place.
I moved to what I thought was a brand new, beautifully constructed apartment complex, well, looks are very deceiving. Having lived at Wincoram Commons for 1 year, I am lucky to still be alive, this place is full of drug dealers and drug addicts rampantly throughout the entire complex. The Leasing office Management staff (which has changed 4-5 times within a year) are condescending to the residents, they have no care or concern about the property (1 maintenance person, landscapers only paid to cut grass weeds are all over the grounds, previous maintenance person quit because they refuse to get him help, garbage and debris everywhere) they only want your monthly fees. We was told before moving in that we would have 24 hour security here, there is none. There are cameras scattered around the property and anytime something happens on the premises, you have to have date and time before anyone on the leasing team will even check into things. There is so much internal conflicts going on at Wincoram Commons, management does no resolution or mediate between feuding residents, which is what is needed, instead this management team that are currently here, tells residents to call 911 because security is not in the budget. Most resident complaints is noise issues and because the units were poorly built, there is no insulation or carpeting and padding to isolate the sounds. In several buildings in the complex walls are cracking, plumbing back-ups(from bath tub and toilet).
I shouldn't be able to hear a telephone conversation that my neighbors below me or above me are having..the noise barrier sucks..I hate to call and complain about the noise after all, a telephone conversation should be something you should be able to do in your home without everyone hearing it..the leasing office staff seems inexperienced and a bit condescending at times..the maintanence men are awesome!! very friendly group of guys willing to fix anything and are here day and night working during the snow storms!! Being that im paying the maximum rent because of my income I prefer to stay in a nicer place..(apartments are very small) won't be renewing my lease
Can not believe some of the horrible comments. These apartments are beautiful, maybe not granite countertops and stainless steel appliance, but still top of the line. Wonderful people in the leasing office, great sunlight in almost all direction, awesome layout. They make the place comfortable, beautiful, affordable and make sense. Would definitely recommended!
Moved in here when they opened hate it they went to anybody problem with drugs we were told that there would be 24 hour security there is not only cameras when told of a problem they will only review the tape if you give them a time and date ridiculous the buildings were built very cheaply you hear everything bedrooms are very small cannot wait until our lease is up we are out of you theyrent went to anybody
Wish I made less money, as this is actually something affordable on my budget. Guess i should quit my job and go on gov't assistance so I can qualify...FAIL!
Really dropped my jaw when I saw the prices and beauty of this place and cannot wait to see the outcome. Really looks like a place I may look at and potentially rent!
Looks like a great place to live . Just wish we're make a mock of what the inside of each apartment would look like .
