It has been a nice experience living at 1000 Speer. A great location and great team. The maintenance team has been wonderful and the concierge team as well. My only negative (and major negative) is the bilt rewards that forces you to use their credit card and absolutely reject my bank's.

Everything went great moving in, however, the pool hasn’t been working since we moved in 2 months ago. They said it would be fixed within the first two weeks of us moving in.
Maintenance has been incredibly quick and effective on all my requests. If an issue was going to take some time, they were very transparent about the estimate wait. I was very pleased with the work done after the fact as well.

Communication to residents is awful and practically nonexistent. Management also has no idea what they’re doing and tries to blame everybody but themselves. They’re also barely available to talk to since all of them like to take “lunch breaks” that span their entire day. Maintenance likes to “complete” their work orders but then not actually show up and do their job. I’ve submitted 4 or 5 requests now, and each say they’re completed a few days later when literally nothing in my apartment has been fixed.
I moved into my new unit on 8/23. I informed the leasing office that at least 10-12 items need repair and fixed. It’s now been over 35 days and no follow up, nor has maintenance reached out to set up time to look and fix these items. This should have been done before I moved in. Very disappointing. I have lived in six other apartment communities and this is a first for me. Happy to discuss further if needed.

My move was not smoth; however, once they found out about the problem, the entire team bent backwards to make it right. I know that problems happen but what makes a difference is how it is resolved. The Windson team made the difference.
UPDATE to review from 5/11: I have to give one star, even with the great concierge staff. Residents got an email that the elevator would be worked on today. Well, today came and went with NO UPDATE but you bet that the elevator still doesn’t work and word around the building is that yet another part or something needs to be ordered and there’s no timetable. I honestly believe at this point the staff is playing a joke on the residents and getting humor out of this. It’s legitimately the only plausible reason I can think of for a freakin elevator to not work for months. I have never heard of a so-called luxury building (it’s not) not being able to fix an elevator for this long. It’s beyond comprehensible. I BEG anyone who is reading this not to live here. The day my lease is over at this godforsaken place will be the happiest day of my life.
Love living here. Staff always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I've never waited more than 24 hour for a maintenance request to be resolved. That team is top notch! Office staff are always very responsive to requests. Fun events for the community. Special shoutout to Ellie and Chase in concierge who always take great care of us. We moved cross country from NJ and the team made that process so easy. Just renewed our lease and plan to be here for awhile.
The staff at 1000 Speer is very kind and inviting. The common areas are always clean and the concierge team is amazing.
I was very disappointed with the fact that my apartment was extremely dirty when I moved in. I asked the leasing office for the company cleaners to come and they never did so I ended up having to hire my own. It was so dirty when I moved in there was broken glass everywhere on the floor.
They have created a wonderful community that feels welcoming, and warm. I’ve throughly enjoyed my first month living in the complex, and I look forward to spending more time in this beautiful neighborhood.
The maintenance team is fantastic. This specific issue with my AC involved buying a new part and I was updated on every step of the purchasing and installation process. Great work!
As transplants, my wife and I appreciate how conveniently located this community is. We also appreciate how friendly and accommodating the staff has been. Our unit is great and very spacious. The the west facing views are incredible and the community has nice amenities.
I’ve lived at 1000 Speer for ten months now and my experience has been fantastic. The apartment is amazing - minimal issues (and the issues I’ve had have been very minor) - and the amenities are great. The leasing team actually listens to you, which has not been my experience at past apartment complexes. No apartment building is going to be perfect, but the fact that the folks managing the building encourage tenants to come to them with problems - and those problems are often solved very soon after they’re documented - puts 1000 Speer head and shoulders above the rest.
The maintenance team has always given the absolute best service from any building I’ve lived in! They’re fast, communicative, super helpful, and incredibly nice people.
Great experience. We moved cross country which can be chaotic but Maria was quick to answer questions and made the whole process a breeze. We love it here!
My experience was great as it usually is. Professional, clean, efficient and skilled to do the job and do it right.
It’s a cool temporary place to live. People at the concierge are the nicest and sweetest. Management could be better. Amenities, missing a hot top and working TVs. People with actual parking passes need to park in their spot and not guest parking so friends and family can park easier.
The electric chargers for EV vehicles (in the garage for residents) have been down for over two months. The EV chargers in the visitors area are always taken up by regular cars. We’ve called ChargePoint to fix the chargers, and they said that it’s up to the property owner to fix them. ChargePoint also said they were in contact with 1000 Speer, but that the owners don’t want to pay to fix them. Don’t move here if you have an EV and need reliable charging. (Cross-posted)
Everyone that works here is very good at what they do
A few years ago after selling my home, I needed a place to land temporarily. I leased an apartment here and had a great experience. So great, that I recently relocated back to CO and came straight back to the building. The views, the upkeep of the building, the location, amenities, staff (front desk, leasing, maintenance) are top notch. Also, I searched around and found this building to be the greatest value. It is secure and well maintained and also quiet. That is what mattered most to me. Allie is the current manager and is very personable (which is an added value in this business to be seen as an individual and not a unit #). I am part of the demographic that has no desire to own a home because of the simplicity and ease of renting. This building gives me that and continually feels like home.
1000 Speer is a great community, staff is very friendly and helpful, apartments are well built, and have everything you need , washing machine , dryer, dishwasher, beautiful views , concierge 24 hours . great place .
Everyone is super friendly and super helpful here (staff and residents). The building itself is beautiful, amazing views and the amenities (24/7 concierge, gym, pool overlooking amazing mountains) are all top notch.

1000 Speer is one of the best places weve lived- the maintenance and concierge staff are top-notch, helpful, and very kind.
You will hear every sound from outside of your apartment, especially at night. The garage is from floors 2-6, and you will heard exhaust sounds all night long, as well as sirens from the nearby Denver Health. For what you pay, it is not worth it.

At first, the unit we leased appeared to be in great condition. After a few months, all of our appliances started to have issues. The air conditioning also is very poor during the summer months. Prices are way above average in Denver, especially for being outside of downtown. There are shootings, muggings, and drug abuse right outside of the building. You will often see homeless people trying to break into the garage to sleep at night. I would not recommend this place to anyone who is looking to live in Denver. RENTER BEWARE

1 month ago someone two people where shot outside our building in a hit-and-run. Peoples cars, motorcyles, scooters, and other personal property is stolen on a monthly basis. When asked about getting a security guard, they ignore the request. Your lease will change during your term, with increasing amenity cost, utility cost, and even cost for cable and internet, even if you don't want to use their services. Expect to pay hidden fees, and to receive no support from leasing. Highly encourage any potential resident to look elsewhere. I have known several people who have lived here, including myself, and I would hate for anyone to experience what we had to.

The entire experience renting my apartment at 1000 Speer was just perfect. The staff is exceptional, the building stellar, and the neighborhood perfect. Overall an wonderful experience.
We have loved this community and continue to enjoy all aspects. It is nice to have it open up and be more of a true community as COVID risks dwindle. They handled COVID very well.
We really love living here. As the weather gets nicer and vaccination rates go up, we are excited to experience more of the community that lives here.
1000 Speer is a great place to live, the only negative is the forced XFinity cable package. Very short sighted of such a great property to force people to have xfinity cable
We rarely have problems with appliances or other issues like that in our apartment, but when we do the maintenance staff is prompt, efficient and always incredibly gracious.
I want to give a big shout out to the maintenance crew!! I have never lived somewhere with such a kind and proficient team. Give them raises! They deserve it!
Very happy with the building's employees and front desk. Very personable and attentive.
I've been impressed with everyone that works here. They all take pride in doing their jobs to an exceptional level that includes the cleaning staff, maintenance, concierge, etc. The room around the trash bins are kept impressively clean despite the fact that it's a trash area, the sidewalks are cleared of debris (including the salt for snow/ice), and the few maintenance requests have been resolved within 12 hours.
Units are nice with big windows and updated appliances and fixtures. Floors could use work. Maintenance is responsive and kind. Concierge is more like a 24/7 baby sitter or RA from college dorm than concierge service constantly walking pool and gym to supervise residents which gets annoying and gives off college dorm feel. Would be better if they could let in guests and send them up to your apartment instead of having to come down and get people. Gym equipment is mostly run down and in poor shape. Randomly sold off pelotons with no explanation. Surrounding streets unsafe and eye sore due to tent city. Rent being increased during pandemic when surrounding buildings are offering free rent for months and have better amenities. Also rents in Denver reported to be stagnant past year. Makes no sense. Still decent value. Mostly sound proof but can hear above you in bedrooms. Keep eye out for hidden fees in lease including mandatory cable and internet package. Residents are all really cool and keep the building reasonably quiet, clean and nice. That might change with rent increase and tent city issue, as well as gym equipment being broken. Will update as issues fixed.
The revolving door of mgmt has not provided a consistent experience & the value proposition here has lost it's lust.
It's always amazing, every time they are fast and responsive and ready to come fix the problem.
I first moved to 1000 speer out of pure convenience especially it being so close to my job. The staff has always been so kind and helpful as well as the residents ! Being here for two years now and with the covid pandemic 1000 Speer has been so understanding & patient & if it werent for life changes I would probably continue to live here for another year!
We have felt extremely cared for at 1000 Speer! I cannot say enough about the maintenance team. Super responsive, extremely nice and helpful, and has gone above and beyond on several occasions for our out of the ordinary asks. So thankful for all they do for us!
I've only been here for close to a month and only have great things to say about this apartment complex and community. The building is very clean and well kept including the amenity spaces and corridors, and it is very much appreciated when the corridors and elevators are cleaned multiple times a week to maintain the pristine quality of the building. In addition to the cleanliness of the building the staff is extremely kind and helpful with any request and I have been more than than pleased. They are prompt with their response and actively engage in making your experience enjoyable at every turn. Never have I lived in a community in the past 8 years of renting that has been as welcoming and kind as the staff here at 1000 Speer. That same can be said about the Maintenance staff as well at 1000 Speer. The have been extremely timely in responding to requests and have fixed any issue I have had in less than a couple of hours after submitting the request. The Maintenance staff is also extremely polite, professional, and kind while working on any minor issues inside of my unit that I have had. It is also very refreshing that they not only work on your requests but actively engage in conversation with you while working. I very much look forward to living here for the next few years. It's everything and more that I've wanted to find in a luxury apartment community.
