Woodway is situated just five miles outside of Waco, and is a vast residential area that provides a peaceful setting near the conveniences of the city. Ranch-style homes are perched on large lots with well-maintained lawns, and there are three parks within the neighborhood’s boundaries for residents to enjoy.
Most residents of Woodway drive to Waco for a greater selection of entertainment and dining options, but Woodway does provide plenty of opportunities to experience the beauty of Texas. Carleen Bright Arboretum is a 16-acre garden botanical garden and preserve that double as event space. Lake Waco to the north is obviously a prominent calling card for the area, as it’s the easiest way to beat the Texas in summer. With US-84 and I-35 nearby, Woodway commuters can get to Waco, Dallas-Forth Worth, or Austin easily.
