Property Ratings at 10600 Wilshire
This apartment is the epitome of paying for location. While centrally located (between Beverly Hills and Santa Monica near freeways and UCLA), it's definitely the runt of apartment buildings on Wilshire. The view from the back of the building is great, and if it weren't the shortest building on Wilshire, the view from the rooftop pool would be fantastic. The gym is below average, but there is garage parking. Some of the staff are superb and others are almost vindictive. My roommate and I have lived here seven and eleven years, and there still is "gossip" between doormen and management about us that is 10% true and 100% inappropriate. If you appreciate privacy and discretion, this is not the location for you. However, if it is not a priority, it is probably the cheapest location on such a great street and it also features a lot of layout options and high ceilings. Very different rules and regulations for different tenants (rent discrepancies, pet allowances, lease length disagreements).
