About This Home

1 Month Lease , Available Mar 10

**** READ **** 1)We get tons of interest in this unit. In your introductory email/contact with us, tell us a bit about yourself. This is the first time we hear from you and we want to know about you. Let us know. If the only thing you ask is if the unit is still available or you want to get a tour, we probably won't get back to you because you haven't told us anything about yourself. Please provide clear information about your employment situation. This is critical as we must verify current, ongoing employment before renting to anyone. Tell us about your current living situation and why you are moving. Tell us something about yourself that you think we should know or may help us make a decision. 2) Please read the description very carefully. Almost all of your questions will be answered. We get dozens of requests for this unit. If you have nine dogs, want to move in with your fifteen best friends, and like to throw rager parties every night, we most likely will not get back to you. Please don't ask. We will most likely say no. READ NEXT: This is a very special unit because it has a really amazing shared space/yard. However, this is also the space that my family and I use and is an extension of our living area as well. Since it is a shared living space, we are very particular about who we share it with. We don't discriminate based on any protected class, as we have lived with literally every type of person over the last 40+ years, but we do want to make sure your craziness is compatible with our craziness. To that end, we won't rent to anyone we haven't met in person or gotten to know really well online. So please plan to come take a look at the place, meet our overly friendly dog. See if you can stand sharing this special little oasis in the middle of Los Angeles with us. If it seems like a good fit for everyone, we will send you an invitation to apply. Don't feel bad if we don't though. We just realize you may not enjoy our company and want to save you the headache. About the Unit: The key here is the location. This little gem is walking distance to Universal Studios, Toluca Lake Village, Universal Metro Station and biking distance to Warner Bros and Disney. Centrally located between major freeways, it is easy to get to most parts of town or out of town if the need arises. Unit is unattached in a nice, green, gated, shared backyard. Being in the center of the entertainment district, there is sometimes noise from the neighbors but otherwise the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Owner lives onsite with their family and puppy. We are looking for? A quiet, non-smoking, no pet owning (there is already a dog on the property, no need to bring your own.), person to share our little oasis in the city with. Someone who can get along with our kind of craziness. Details: -No lease, no deposit. Very informal here. Still going to do a rent application and agreement just to protect both of us, however. -427 sq ft -Utilities included - Gas, water, puppy, electric, sewage, and trash -Washer & dryer for tenants to share -Partially stocked kitchen. Toaster oven, microwave, induction cooktop, dishes etc. -Off street parking spot included on the property -Full kitchen (Recently updated) -Please note, the cute little oven in the pictures is non-functional. I know, it is super cute and we want to cook on it as well but the gas has not been connected to the unit yet so that will not be available. We provide an induction cooktop and a large toaster oven. -Full bath -AC and heater -High speed WiFi available for additional charge, puppy kisses are free. -Property comes supplied with a puppy.

City - North Hollywood

The mix of cosmopolitan flair and low-key atmosphere once led LA Weekly to speculate that North Hollywood just might be the best place to live in the Los Angeles area. This community has become popular among artists, writers, filmmakers, and actors seeking balance between easy access to Hollywood and a quieter, more suburban home environment.

The local food and bar scene is robust, and the bohemian vibe of the NoHo Art District attracts all manner of offbeat creative types. Uncommon among Los Angeles-area communities, much of North Hollywood is quite walkable, with food, drinks, galleries, and performance venues just a leisurely stroll away from one another. Thankfully for renters, all of the perks of this location come at a relatively affordable cost. Most renters pay an average of $2,282 to rent in North Hollywood, about $500 less than the Los Angeles average.
