Ormond By the Sea is known for the beautiful no drive beach with coral sand...unwind your mind, body, and soul! Catch the sunrise via your own beach access to watch the dolphins or surfers play, while soaking up the sun. My home is 6 homes from the ocean. One of my favorite sightings was 6 dolphins flipping and frolicking. Or maybe it is catching the many stars at night over the open waters. Hard to choose! At the inter-coastal waterway end of street, there is fishing, kayaking, nature watching or view stunning sunsets. Catch a rocket launch from Kennedy Space Center, treat yourself to view the trail blaze thru the sky toward you from the beach and to see it at night, quite the site! Access wonderful walking/bike path paralleling A1A, visit many parks close for pickleball/tennis/hiking or the convenience of restaurants, water cruises, farmers market, festivals, quaint stores nearby, or the touristy Daytona Ocean Walk Shoppes...there's just soooo much to do. Coming to mind: Historic Ormond Scenic Loop- Crotty & Rennick Parks- Tomoka Park, Ormond Beach Art Museum & Garden- OBS Historic Main Street, Flagler Beach area (~10 mins)- Palm Coast Area (St Joe Walkway, Long Creek Nature Preserve, Washington Oaks State Park, Marineland)- Daytona Beach area OR the many sites with Historic St Augustine (41 miles) or fun filled Orlando (67 miles). Indulge in the refreshing outdoor shower in privacy. Fenced in professionally maintained well-landscaped yard. You will most likely see two tortoises out forging for the day before returning to reside to my landscaped oasis in backyard! Or you might see a crane in the front or other ocean birds landing in the neighborhood. Hear ocean sounds and feel the ocean breeze from your bedroom windows or while relaxing in the screened in lanai with your favorite book or playing a board game with supply on site. In large living room, both couches have two reclining theater style seating. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, cart, toys, coolers, beach blankets on site- along with washer/dryer in home. Ample stocked kitchen with separate dining room for those indoor dinners, WiFii/Roku TV streaming. Garage area not included. No smoking/vaping onsite or animals. The minimum age for consideration to lease my home is 25. Owner covers utilities, (capped at $100 per month for electric and $25 per month for water), lawncare, and property taxes. Tenant responsible for own cable. $75 application fee per occupant and copy of drivers license ID and/or passport required to initiate background check. References, background check, good or better credit score, sufficient income (no vouchers/Section 8 accepted), and security deposit required. When inquiring, please state occupation/salary for each occupant, number of occupants, and requested move in date/lease terms. Only qualified candidates will be replied too. Flexible lease terms 30 days OR greater. Ideal for snowbirds, traveling medical professionals, or corporate travelers. Beware of scammers. Situated on the North Peninsula, Ormond by the Sea is a roughly five-mile stretch of land between the Halifax River and the Atlantic Ocean. The area attracts new residents, tourists, and seasonal residents alike for its pristine beaches and natural beauty backed by residential areas. Renters have a variety of condos and beach houses to choose from. Ocean Shore Boulevard runs behind the beach and provides a plethora of dining and shopping options. Everything from fresh seafood to pizzerias can be found along this road. While the east of Ormond by the Sea is bounded by the Atlantic, the western side of the neighborhood borders the brackish waters of the Halifax River. Fishing piers and docks provide residents with adventurous outdoor fun as well as access to the preserved wetlands across the river. To get into mainland Florida, residents travel five miles south of town to cross over the river via the Granada Bridge.
