Property Ratings at 11 Cooper
I am in my apartment unit, and the AC isn't cooling down. I call for maintenance emergency, the person says in Camden NJ outside temperature has to be above 80 degrees for it to be considered a maintenance emergency. Well, i explain to her that the unit is at 80 degrees currently, still she refused to help. This issue has been ongoing for 1 year. It was never fixed and yet i pay rent every month. I work full time and yet I have to come home to this nonsense
Pro: Nice staff members and clean/new facilities(parcel keepers and in unit washer/dryer is the best part). Con: VERY bad soundproofing- or I am unlucky with my neighbors. Stumping sound that goes 24/7 with or without high heels and aggressive and argumentative voices give me a headache or sudden wake-ups during the night. I've talked to the office, the guard and the resident at issue. No improvement. Also, depending on your choice of flat, the tram sound can be quite big. During this Zoom era, this brought some issue during group study and class participation/presentation my classmates said the tram sounds really loud to them during the sessions. Occasional party noise is included in the contract as non-debatable, though I am living as pandemic rolls on so this wasn't an issue for me but during usual semester, maybe it can go bad and you can't argue about it). Overall, I came to this property due to its closeness with RU(and school wasn't sure about going virtual back then), but wish I knew aforementioned downsides about this apt before moving in at least. So hopefully you take this and make a better decision for yourself.
