About This Property
We are currently showing 111 W Vine Street Champaign for an August first lease. It is on the southeast corner of Randolph and Vine. It is on main bus routes, minutes to campus and a four block stroll into the heart of downtown Champaign. This historic home was built in 1867. It was once the residence of an early mayor of Champaign. When we purchased it the home had not been well cared for. While preserving most of the original interior finishes (for our work we were awarded by The Preservation and Conservation Association – PACA – we were awarded their Neighborhood Heritage Award in 2014) we did the following: • All new plumbing and water supply from the street • All new electrical, panel and interior wiring • Brand new high efficiency 95+ plus efficient furnace and central air • All new Energy Star windows • New insulation • New kitchen, full and half bath • Installed an electric heater in the double mantel fireplace • Created a new washer dryer area The home is 1,600 square feet. It is two stories. It has an unfinished basement with an additional 750 sq. ft for storage. Most of the first floor is hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen is laminate planking. On the first floor is – Living room, study, half bath, dining room, kitchen/laundry. On the second floor are the three bedrooms and the full bath. Tenants historically have been graduate students, married couples and professionals. Our private tenant fitness Center is block to the east at 605 N Neil. We mow the lawn and provide weekly curbside trash and recycling pickup For more information, to review a sample lease and to see our pet policy – we have a number of dogs, cats and a couple of rabbits currently please visit our website rdi.properties. We guard against our tenants becoming rent burdened. We have a strict policy that verifiable net income is three times rent. To schedule a tour please email.
111 W Vine St is a house located in Champaign County and the 61820 ZIP Code.
