About This Property

The apartment is approximately 800 sq. ft., with its entrance on Dickens just east of Clifton. It has hard wood floors, high ceilings, ceiling fans, track lighting, modern appliances including a dishwasher and microwave, stone kitchen counter tops, subway tile in the bathroom, air conditioners, recently new windows, an efficient gas-forced air furnace for just the apartment and low monthly utilities (about $35/month for electricity and $40-100/month for gas in the winter). Cabling is in place for Tenant contracted Xfinity streaming and internet. The Bedroom can accommodate a queen size bed. There is also a private outdoor patio/sundeck for this unit. There are only three apartments in this classic brownstone building, which is joined by a common porch and deck system with its sister building at 2059 N. Clifton (only two units in this building.) In the lower level of the larger building there are two coin-operated washers and two dryers that are shared by all the tenants. There is a Janitor on call for minor repairs and assistance. The apartment is quiet, attractive, warm and inviting. The tall windows in the apartment face north and south on tree-lined streets, keeping this apartment sunny and bright. A 143-zone parking permit is available and street parking is often readily available. Dickens is modern bike path all the way east to Lincoln Park. The apartment is conveniently located between the Red Line and Brown Line trains. The rent is $2150/month + utilities (gas, electric). There is also a non-refundable, one-time move-in fee of $400 upon acceptance. There is no security deposit. If interested, please call and we can set up a convenient visit. This is a very desirable apartment, only available infrequently. The current tenant has been in her apartment since 2021. Her personal references are also available.
