The mix of cosmopolitan flair and low-key atmosphere once led LA Weekly to speculate that North Hollywood just might be the best place to live in the Los Angeles area. This community has become popular among artists, writers, filmmakers, and actors seeking balance between easy access to Hollywood and a quieter, more suburban home environment.
The local food and bar scene is robust, and the bohemian vibe of the NoHo Art District attracts all manner of offbeat creative types. Uncommon among Los Angeles-area communities, much of North Hollywood is quite walkable, with food, drinks, galleries, and performance venues just a leisurely stroll away from one another. Thankfully for renters, all of the perks of this location come at a relatively affordable cost. Most renters pay an average of $2,282 to rent in North Hollywood, about $500 less than the Los Angeles average.

Property Ratings at 11828 Runnymede St
When we first moved in it was great. Quiet and family friendly. Now, we can’t wait to move out. Management most be really desperate to let the party people in. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good a party. But every night? With super loud music. You can feel it through the walls.
Love this new place. Lived in Encino for 15 years and paid way to much way to long. These apartments are spacious, new and clean. One of the best perks is our apartment manager Greg. He is super helpful and always on the ball getting things done. He's super fair and takes care of our place. The neighborhood can be sketchy at times but Greg is always checking the safety of the garage and follows up on anything his tenants report. The neighbors are family oriented and keep busy work schedules. It's quiet and clean. Access to freeways is pretty good. thanks Greg for taking care of us here at the Runnymede Apartments.
