Yes, this busy business district is as urban as one might expect considering its proximity to Manhattan, but it is also home to historic treasures, art galleries, a waterfront amphitheater, sculpture gardens, and beautiful parks. The train into Manhattan – a direct route with trains leaving every two hours – takes only about 30 minutes.

Untermyer Park, built in 1899, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This beautiful park includes gardens, a pergola, a waterfall, and a small amphitheater.
