They are very kind here. Any maintenance request, they will get on it as soon as possible. They do three community events with gifts and/or food every month, I’ve never experienced that at any other apartment complex I’ve been in.

We are so pleased with our home at 1201 Covell Village. The apartment is so quiet and cozy. The management and maintenance staff is professional and courteous. Very rapid to respond and correct any issues. The maintenance staff is on top of everything, changing filters and performing preventative maintenance so any inconvenience is minimized. Very happy here and highly recommend.

A great place to live for several reasons. A place that continues to be the cleanest and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and I have always got the answers for all my questions instantly. The maintenance team are excellent at what they do and have always resolved problems within stipulated times or sooner! The roads and gardens are well maintained. The management team always thinks about how to get the people at the apartments together. They respect the diversity and initiate programs to make the stay more worth it. Close to everything you need but far enough where you feel comfortable. Definitely a recommend.

I have lived here since 2014, and love it. It is safe and secure, close to everything you might need. The apartments are very well maintained. You are able to have a pet if you so desire. It has been for me and my mother and my daughter a good and comfortable home.

I am a current tenant and this by far is the worst “luxury” apartment complex I have ever lived in. The management is horrible! It is incredibly loud! The walls are so thin, you can literally hear a pin drop in another apartment! The power surges and goes out constantly! The maintenance is a joke! The A/C doesn’t cool any room in your apartment! When you submit a work order the staff lie and say it was completed even if they never come! The pipes in the shower whistle like they’re about to burst! I can go on and on! Live here at your own risk! It’s not worth the money or your sanity! I can’t wait until my lease ends!

The City of Edmond has unfortunately been experiencing ongoing transformer issues resulting in temporary power outages city-wide and we understand just how frustrating these experiences can be. At 1201 we take pride in the professionalism of our staff and are sorry you have experienced maintenance and communication-related frustrations. In order for our team to best serve our residents, we request that all maintenance issues be documented as soon as they occur. This way our team can track and address each concern in a timely manner, which is typically same-day unless an unforeseen issue arises. Our protocol is to provide residents with up-to-date information on the status of all requests until they are closed out in the system. We would appreciate the opportunity to continue the discussion around the severity of your comments and remedy your concerns in person and ask that you please stop by the office at your earliest convenience. This place has had bad management and bad business practices as long as I have lived in Edmond, this time we were shown a normal two bed room then after getting the lease and getting to see the apartment they said was the same as the one we signed up for we noticed this one is handicap. Not too big of a deal, however the door whistles the hot water tank whistles the ac does not do a good job at heating or cooling any room you go into. And the very first time that I had my apartment complex worked on which was the fridge being broken on move in (lol) they came to fix it and left puddles in the floor larger than the pond outback and the maintenance man left a towel on the ground near it that would not have soaked up half of the water if we had five of them. The back door only recently started locking, so most have been paying for this extra “security” that seems to only work once in a blue moon and actually lock this door. You can find similar living without this place I promise. The only good I can find is the apartments are inside and the fobs sometimes would keep people out if they didn’t have one. Overall would give this place a 3 at least, but dealing with the owners/managers of this place make it awful.
Worst place. We live on the second floor and can hear everything above us. Most tenants do not care about their neighbors and make a lot of noise. Dog poop everywhere. Roaches coming out from under appliances. After using a can of roach spray and bleach finally seeing less roaches. Ready to move!!!!
There has been a change in management/staff & the difference shows already! I don't think they've been here too long but the attitude & the vibe on property is DRASTICALLY different! I can't tell you the last time I saw a manager at this property that went around to help clean the property! It's the little things as a resident that I appreciate that they do; you know like answer the phone on the first ring, are always polite by asking how my day is & telling me to have a good day/evening every time I leave, being friendly, remembering my name, & actually having a conversation with me just because...the little things go a LONG way! As long as these ladies are here, I will be more than happy to renew when it is time because I know that I am and will be taken care of.

No Place Like Home After visiting several apartment options, I chose 1201 at Covell Village Apartments. Having been a former homeowner, apartment living is certainly different. This my second apartment and I felt at home from the first day I toured the complex with my son. All apartments here have a washing machine and a dryer, unlike others which I visited which only had the connections ready for the machines to be installed. The kitchen has all the amenities I need such as a dishwasher, microwave, a refrigerator with an automatic ice cube maker and a double stainless steel sink. Then the master bathroom has a spacious tub and plenty of under the sink storage. In the guest bathroom, there is an open concept linen closet. A recent visitor said, “Wow! This is a large bathroom!” Let's move on to the bedrooms which are very spacious and have open walk in closets. The large windows allow plenty of natural sunlight into the apartment and I control the level of heating and cooling all year long. If I ever have a maintenance issue, all I need to do is submit a request on the apartment website. Then the friendly and knowledgeable maintenance staff arrive as scheduled. They always respond within 24 hours if not sooner! Honestly, I have not had any concerning repair requests. I have a home office and I have nevr encountered yelling and screaming either from inside the building or in the parking lot. Safety has not been a concern and I am very thankful for on-site management. Last year after a heavy rain storm, the community manager knocked at my door to make sure I was okay. Wow! Throughout the year, there are different resident activities. This is a fun way to meet some of my neighbors. Of the ones who I have met, they are very nice people and always willing to help me if I need it. With the amenities, nice neighbors, a great management team and maintenance staff, who I hope will stay on as long as possible, why would I move again?? This is home in my apartment!
The office staff is rude and seem to have zero diplomacy when it comes to relaying information to residence. When getting help from one of the office girls will determine how much they personally like you. The hallways always smell like rotten trash, and the college kids coming in drunk at all hours becomes annoying. Everything they "sale you on" seems to all be a lie!! Dog droppings are another topic that falls on def ears as well. There are so many things that could be said about this place that is so negative that I would run out of space. Bottom line is this. If you are looking for a place to rent save yourself the stress and GO ELSEWHERE!!!! This place isn't good for anything except to take your money and they complain about that as well!

I would like to thank you for giving us feedback on our community. Based on your comments we will have staff meeting to review our procedures pertaining to resident communication and put new measures in place to ensure that office communication with residents is improved. While some personalities don’t always click on a personal level we always strive to provide the same level of service to each and person that lives at our community while maintaining a professional and courteous relationship with all our residents. I have conducted a property inspection and am unable to detect a garbage smell in any of the hallways but if there is ever an area that needs attention please let a staff member know so we can take care of it right away. Maintenance has also completed a sweep of the grounds to ensure that any pet waste has been cleaned up. I am sorry that you are frustrated and would like to invite you to schedule a meeting with me so we can go over some of the other areas you feel we can improve.
At first this seemed like a nice apartment complex. Six months later, I know that the things that are most appealing do not actually happen. There are non smoking sign up all over the building, but people smoke everywhere on the property, and the staff will not do anything about it. The quality of construction is terrible- your floor vibrates when people above you walk. People do not clean up after their dogs. It is also about 50% college students that do not want to live in a dorm. There have been wine bottles in the parking lot before, and the staff just says they cannot control what people do.

I am sorry to hear that we have not met your expectations during your residency with us. We are a smoke free community and take that policy very seriously. If this policy is violated we do issue fines and take additional corrective action. It may seem like we don’t do anything about it only because we value the privacy of each and every resident and do not inform other residents of any fines or legal action taken. Please let us know if there is anyone smoking on the community and we will address it promptly. Also, because we live in close proximity to our neighbors noise is inevitable and a part of apartment living. The acceptable level of noise varies on personal preference so sometime it is hard to police. I personally live at the community and do not experience vibrating floors when my upstairs neighbors walk throughout their apartment. We do offer an on-site transfer option to all residents and I would be happy to discuss moving you to a 4th floor apartment to eliminate the noise issue you are experiencing. Please remember that the afterhours courtesy patrol is available to you during quiet hours if you are experiencing any noise that is unreasonable or excessive. Our lease does require that all pet waste is cleaned up but it is up to our residents to be a responsible pet owner. If you notice an area that needs some attention please let a staff member know and we will make sure it gets cleaned up immediately. Fair Housing Laws do not permit us to keep demographics on residents and we welcome anyone to our community that meets our screening criteria. We do have students in this building that opt to live with us rather than the dorms so they have a quiet place to study as they work towards their degree. All of the team members of 1201 work very hard to provide a clean and quiet environment but we do rely on our residents to follow the rules that are outlined in the lease agreement. We in fact cannot control the actions and behavior of residents and guests but do address each and every violation or concern that is reported to us. After all, this is our home too and we take great pride in living and working here. Please know that my door is always open if you would like to sit down and discuss your concerns.
I love living here, and will most likely live here until I finish grad school. The walls are soundproof so you hardly hear neighbors or people walking upstairs, and they hardly hear you. The apartment complex itself is wonderful and makes me feel very safe. That being said you will notice flaws as time goes by. There are no stairs in the center of the complex - only at the exits. I live on the second floor and if I enter from the front of the building I have to either wait for the elevator or walk all the way to the back of the building for the stairs. If you live in the back on the first floor facing the parking lot you are enclosed by a short fence, which makes those on the ground floor feel safe and their patio is blocked off from the parking lot. However, you cannot access the sidewalk or the stairwell unless you go all the way around the fence, or through the fence maze by the dumpsters. If your patio/balcony faces the pool, no matter what floor you are on you will hear screaming children all summer at all hours of the day. The units are uneven and things roll all over the floor. The managers are polite and nice, but also only care about the business. Everything is black and white and there are no negotiations or any leeway regarding anything. You are disposable to them. Valet trash is very convenient especially for those who dread walking to the dumpster. It is not free and is on a strict schedule, and some may not think it's worth paying extra each month. There are also plenty of rules regarding valet trash, and if you accidentally break one of them you will be fined. All in all the apartment is wonderful. The units are beautiful and clean, the neighbors are respectful and friendly, and you can't beat the location. Would 100% recommend to anyone of all ages.

Location is in very desirable Edmond, Oklahoma. You are in walking distance to grocery shopping, great restaurants, even an excellent senior center. 1201 at Covell Village is a multi-floor building. There is an elevator system to aid access to higher floors. There is a well equipped gym inside the building. This is a secure building that requires an access card to enter. Mail is delivered in side the building. All apartments enter off an inside hall way. So, Oklahoma weather is ruled out for most of your at home needs. The staff is the cherry on top. Very responsive to all your needs, both administrative and maintenance. Finally - the rent is reasonable for all the extras 1201 at Covell Village. I feel pampered.
