It is conveniently situated near two Metro Light Rail stops (within 4-5 blocks, 5-10 minute walk), so it is great for travelling to Downtown, Medical Center, Reliant Stadium, etc. One can walk to Hermann Park (Houston Zoo, Miller Outdoor Theatre, etc.) and the various museums (Fine Arts, Contemporary Arts, Children's, Health, Holocaust, etc.) from the complex through the Museum District neighborhoods in approximately 15 minutes or less. The Asia Society Center, which opened in early 2012, is two blocks away. The complex has easy access to I-59 North and South, which will get you to 288, 610 loop, I-10, and I-45. It is equally easy to get to the hot spots for dining and entertainment in Houston (Westheimer, Montrose, Rice Village, Downtown, Washington Avenue, Midtown) within 10-15 minutes driving. As far as security, the area feels very safe. Many residents of the complex and broader neighborhood walk their dogs around in the evening. Cars are parked along the streets overnight. Essentially, the Museum District is a very desirable place to be. Rooms / Townhouse: The master bedroom is generously sized at 12' x 18' (3rd floor). It has its own private master bath (shower and whirlpool tub) and 2 walk-in closets. I have a queen size platform bed, 2 reading chairs with ottomans, floor lamp, and desk currently in the room that are available for use. The two guest bedrooms are also generously sized at 13' x 14' (1st floor) and 11' x 14' (3rd floor). Each room has its own private bath and walk-in closet. The 1st floor BR has a small outdoor patio. The common areas (2nd floor) are hardwood floors. In the kitchen, there is a Sub Zero fridge and Wolf range (commercial-grade) and microwave. There is an outdoor patio outside of the kitchen as well. All of the common areas can be provided furnished (couch, chairs, coffee table, etc.) and include a 60" Samsung HDTV. In the utility room (3rd floor), there are front-load, energy-efficient Samsung washer/dryer. Price: The monthly rent is $3250. There is a one-time non-refundable move-in fee of $250 and a security deposit of one month's rent that is refundable upon move out. Note that a credit / background check is a mandatory portion of the rental application. Smoking is not permitted within the townhouse. Pets are not preferred but may be negotiable for additional cost. I am looking for a long-term tenant who preferably will sign at least a one-year lease. I believe the complex is great for both students and professionals who are looking for inside-the-loop living. Please submit the form on this page or contact Vern Huang at to learn more.
