The first thing you'll probably notice about Downtown Olympia is its large, impressive murals -- these bright, colorful works of art adorn the sides of several buildings. Walk along the wide, tree-lined sidewalks and you'll discover charming shops and restaurants contained in those historic brick buildings. Head toward Puget Sound and admire the sailboats, yachts, and fishing boats dotting the water and lining the marina.
As a hub for artists and musicians, Downtown Olympia has a style and flavor all its own. Enjoy the beautiful, serene views from Heritage Park or the stunning backdrop of the Olympic Mountains and Mount Rainier. Downtown is home to the Farmers Market, the Hands On Children's Museum, eight public parks, five theaters, and a twice-a-year art walk.

Property Ratings at 123-4th Apts
AVOID THIS APARTMENT!!!!! All of the good reviews were for the PAST management team from 2+ years ago... Now they have driven this place FAR from good. They have raised the price disgustingly high while dialing back and locking amenities. You can never get in contact with these people, SO many problems need fixing. I urge you to avoid this cr9p H0le.
Our first year here was amazing, the staff were kind and warm. Now however, there is new staff/management who are almost never available. There is always a mess somewhere, the amenities are ALWAYS locked off, they do not respond to emails, they even "LOST" a signed electronic lease. All of these 5 star reviews were from the original staff (being Molly). DO NOT trust these people, they are an awful fit here.
Rented this apartment a few months back when there were no in-person tours allowed. There’s no way we would have signed a lease here had we seen/smelled the condition of the building. This building is constantly filthy and smells of garbage throughout. We have asked management to let us out of our lease in an act of good faith but they will not. One example of the way this building is maintained is that there was recently a pile of vomit in the rear entryway for 4 days before it was cleaned up. The garbage chute is often in disrepair, resulting in tenants leaving garbage in the trash rooms on each floor. The smell is terrible and embarrassing if you have guests. I would not recommend this company or this building to anyone.
Building is relatively new, as a result is still pretty clean but is starting so show a bit of grime. My unit was pretty pristine with my only complaint being one of the outlets is loose and somewhat faulty. Lately, the trash chute has been closed intermittently due to compactor issues. When that happens, some tenants have been putting trash in the room housing the (locked) trash chute opening. The parking garage isn't sealed against birds and as a result some key parking spots have cars that get painted by bird waste on a regular basis. Some of the birds have taken refuge in the garage and have damaged the insultation on the ceiling. Water can accumulate in some spots when it rains. Some tenants or visitors have thrown garbage away in the garage including on my parking spot which I had to clean up. Mail boxes are small so USPS packages that are large will not be accepted (they will not drop it off at your door) and will need to be picked up at the Post Office. While there is a front desk, it doesn't appear to be occupied regularly since the beginning of the pandemic. Location is double edged: Close to the capitol building and to the pier so you have a great view and great door activities. Lots of good food nearby. At night it can be quite noisy (intermittent loud cars with modified exhausts running full throttle through the streets).
I have had the pleasure of living here since close to the beginning and I have NO complaints. EVERY person that has worked here and those who still do genuinely care about the people that live here and how comfortable we are. The upper management Kerry and Steven have personally helped me as a person find success in the workfield and become my own woman. Anytime I have a question, Molly is there with an answer or she will get back to you with an answer. Randy is quick and effective in responding to ANY maintenance concerns you may have and the new manager seems knowledgeable and at the ready to serve. I have no plans on leaving because this is my HOME.
I was one of the first tenants to occupy the building when it opened. I only moved out of the building after two years when work took me overseas. The building was expertly managed by Justin who’s professionalism, attention to detail, and proactive approach to handling tenant concerns made living there feel like family. You can see photos and read all about the amenities and features, but due to Justin’s stewardship alone, I’d move back in a hear beat where I living again in Olympia. Kevin
I toured with Brandi (Leasing Manager) on Sunday, May 14, 2017. I was blown away at the level of excitement she delivered about the property. I got to witness first hand, how her interactions were with current residents. You can tell she loves her job and goes above and beyond to make sure the residents LOVE living there. This building is gorgeous and has so much to offer downtown Olympia! What a pleasant surprise. I'm helping an out of state friend search for an apartment, or I'd be moving here myself. My look for her stops here! AMAZING! Plus professional and friendly staff? How could you beat that?
Not only is this a lovely piece of property, it's located right downtown in the heart of Olympia. Everything Olympia has to offer, at your fingertips! The views are incredible, the entire building is gorgeous and the apartments are beautiful. And it's clean, I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of this entire building! More than any of that though, every time you walk through the front door, you're greeted with a smile. All staff members are warm, welcoming and eager to assist in anyway they can. From the moment I sent my first inquiry email, Property Manager Justin, has gone above and beyond to answer any and all questions. Find answers if he didn't have them. Justin made this dreaded move such a smooth and easy transition. Justin is very prompt when responding to emails and returning phone calls, answering questions etc. Not to mention going out of his way to make sure that we had everything we needed in order to make this move happen. It takes a lot of worry out of moving when you have someone like Justin there to make sure all the loose ends are tied up. I feel very blessed and fortunate to be a part of the little community we have here.
