Hello! We are looking to sublease our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in an rental only building at Madison & Throop. Our current lease is through 7/1, and we are just looking to downsize, so we are looking for someone to move in during the last two weeks of March, and stay through 7/1. On 7/1, you will have the option to re-sign a direct lease under your name with the property (Gerarm Management.) This is a great building that was new in summer 2016 (we are the first people to live in this unit) and no leases are available in this building until summer. We are on the 4th floor (there is an elevator.) The unit is north facing, with no buildings blocking the view (the building across the street is only one story.) Pet friendly. The most unique feature is that the outdoor roof deck is not shared like at most apartments, but is sectioned off for each unit on the 4th floor. (The 2nd and 3rd floor apartments do not have roof access.) The roof deck is in addition to the balcony off of the kitchen. We loved this feature because we never had to worry about "reserving space" on a nice sunny day! The roof deck is furnished with a couch, two arm chars, coffee table and end table by the building. We also have a rod iron table and 4 chairs on the roof that we would sell for $50. There is a communal gas grill on the roof, and you can put your own personal grill on the balcony.
