Property Ratings at 12th & Beach Apartments
I have lived here for years only because I cannot afford to move just yet. They DO NOT REPAIR THINGS! They will mark your requests complete having never even looked at the issues. They don't answer phone calls or emails. If you get the chance to talk to someone, they are rude and dismissive. The laundry facilities NEVER have more than two functioning machines and the pool near the front entrance has been closed more over the last 6 years then open. Not to mention that most of the buildings have a serious cockroach problem. The gate to exit is broken so everyone is forced to exit out of the entrance gate. Yet, they are quick to fine you for any and everything. Not to mention tow vehicles that are backed in. Granted, that is listed in the lease, but you don't always have a chance to get to your visitors quick enough and next thing you know their car is gone. The dumpster is constantly broken and overflowing so there is trash everywhere. Also, the water gets shut off at least three times a week. Save yourself the money and aggravation. Go elsewhere!

I recently applied here and it took 3 weeks to get confirmation that I was "approved" mind you, I had to reach out to get this information. I received a call a few days after this confirming the amount of bedrooms I wanted and the move in date. I was told I would get a welcome email and this I also never received. I received an email with a link to start transferring / setting up service even though I had 0 information or confirmation on my actual apartment number or move in date. I did get emails though about the pool being open, which is great! Even though I will never be using it. While waiting on a confirmation with details I called and kept getting their voicemail. My dad also called multiple times just to see if they would pick up for a different number and he also never got to speak to a live person. After waiting on a month for details I get a call saying they could move me in 4 days. How am I supposed to move in 4 days with no proper information or anything set up? This place is a joke. And for being under new management I feel for the residents. I felt the neef to put this information out there as they still have me listed as a resident but I have since gotten my money back from American express. Renters beware, I have been renting for years and never dealt with this level of improper communication.

I honestly loved the place before the new owners took over. It went from Tazdik bay and now it’s called Bay. Don’t worry they just used black spray paint on the front sign to cover up Tazdik ??. I thought it would be a good thing when they took over but I was wrong. They never answered the phones and when you went to the office they never had time to talk with you. They don’t return emails or phone calls either. The few interactions I had were always them being rude which left me deciding not to renew my lease. Even now after moving out August 30th 2022 and here it is October 20th I still haven’t gotten my security deposit back! All the paperwork and apartment move out actually happened a week before the 30th so you can add 7 days. I’ve called and gone down there with no results. I’ve called corporate today so I can get my security deposit back. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! You are an adult so do what you want but it’s your risk. I lived here 5 years with no issues till the new owners. FYI the front gate has been broken since it’s a month after it got installed. Take photos of your move in before you load the apartment because they try saying things that aren’t true during move out. Good luck. ??
