About This Home
The house is in a very quiet and friendly neighborhood. It is great for families as it is close to parks and playgrounds, and to trails. The house is furnished. The first floor includes a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a full bathroom, a mudroom, a laundry room with washer and drier, and a play area that includes a bar and a pool table. The dining room opens to a spacious backyard with a patio. The second floor includes a master bedroom, with bath tub, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom, with bath tub. We have been living in this house since January 2018, and we are looking for a couple or family that can rent our home for a period of 12 months, and that can respect and take good care of it. We are renting our home because we will be in Cambridge, the UK, between July 2025 and July 2026 for a sabbatical year. No pets.

Tucked into the mountains in the middle of the Coconino National Forest, Flagstaff encompasses everything fascinating about Arizona. It is in the shadow of the state's tallest mountain -- Humphreys Peak, and it is home to the Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort. It is also near the Wupatki National Monument, Walnut Canyon National Monument, Meteor Crater, and Grand Canyon National Park. But while the outdoor adventures in Flagstaff range from hiking and mountain biking to snow skiing and snowboarding, this isn't just a resort city -- Flagstaff is home to Northern Arizona University, a top-ranked, public research university established in 1899.
Being home to one of the world's best universities is just the beginning. Flagstaff is also the location of the Lowell Observatory, one of the oldest observatories in the country, dating back to 1894. Considered one of the world's most important places, the observatory was where Pluto was discovered in 1930.
