About This Property
The unit available is part of a 2 family home. The apartment being rented is in the first floor and the home owner lives in the 2nd floor. It is a fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment. The lease will be a month to month lease regardless of how long the potential tenant is looking to stay for. The price includes all utilities and 1 parking spot in the driveway behind the house. The apartment has everything one needs to move in with a suitcase of clothing and start living there. Ideally, I am looking to rent the place to a single individual with the potential of a couple that is looking to rent the place at the very late 3 months. Long term rentals are welcome. There is a $1400 deposit that will be returned to the tenant once the apartment is checked at the end of their stay. It is a smoke free, pet free home and no business can be conducted out of the apartment. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule a virtual or real tour.

With the Kennebec River flowing throughout the town, Maine’s capital Augusta is a rural locale filled with history. In 1628, English settlers from Plymouth Colony used the capital city as a trading post. Dedicated to preserving the state’s history, many of the activities revolve around celebrating the past. Visit the Old Fort Western, America’s oldest surviving wooden fort where Benedict Arnold attempted to capture Quebec during the American Revolution. The fort hosts history reenactments and other themed events year-round. You can even learn about time gone by in Museum in the Streets, a seasonal tour where informational signs are installed at the sites. Augusta is also home to the University of Maine at Augusta, giving this city the feel of a small college town.
Enjoy the lush nature this small town offers by visiting the Pine Tree State Arboretum, a 224-acre park and botanical garden perfect for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.
