You enter from the front porch and go upstairs to the hall, which is the center of the apartment. The stairs and hall have wall to wall carpeting. The living room is open to the staircase/hall. The living room room is rectangular with a small nook off it. It has a wood floor, walk in closet plus a large double closet with sliding mirror doors, window air conditioner, and a ceiling fan. The kitchen is large enough for a small table and chairs. It has light oak cabinets, a pantry closet, tile floor, a stove, refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The bathroom has a tile floor, and a claw foot tub that has an attached shower. The bedroom has a wood floor, double closet with sliding mirror doors, and a window air conditioner. From this location, you can walk to KU, downtown, and Dillon’s grocery store. A Washer/Dryer Stack unit has been added in the hall way where the bike is now. This will be private for this apartment. Nonsmoking units Application fee is $60, upon approval $40 goes towards your deposit! Tenants pay utilities. Security deposit is equal to a month's rent. Spayed/Neutered Cats and Dogs are welcome with pet rent and pet deposit. (All dogs must be crated when tenant is not home) (Dogs are subject to weight restrictions) Showings are by appointment only. M-F, 10 AM - 7 PM. We do not show Saturday and Sunday. The house, licensed by the city, is locally owned and managed by the Schneider family (serving Lawrence tenants for 37+ years). Financial Requirement: Each applicant must prove they have 4x's the entire rent (for the unit) in permanent income, or applicant must have a Guarantor, who lives in the continental United States, and owns real estate in the continental United States. We must be able to verify that the Guarantor owns the property through the county where the real estate is located. All applicants must qualify on their own/ independent of co-applicants (no applicant may share a Guarantor).
