Once through that door you will be standing in a small entry room that can be used for limited storage. From this entry room is another door that opens into a large living room. This living room has original wood floors, original window trim, and high ceilings. A ceiling fan with light fixture and a fireplace that does not work, but is beautiful. This living room is of the style and character of the era of when the house was built in 1890. You walk from the living room, to the kitchen, through a short hall that has a Washer/Dryer unit. Once through the hall, you will be standing in an eat-in kitchen. The eat-in kitchen has oak cabinets, a dishwasher, and a stained glass light meant to be a dining light above a small table. Central Air Off the eat-in kitchen are the doors to the 2 small bedrooms and the bathroom. The bathroom has tub-shower combination, toilet, vanity, and a cabinet for towel storage. Each of the 2 bedrooms is carpeting, has a closet with sliding mirrored doors, and has a ceiling fan with light fixture. Full size washer and dryer. One of the 2 bedrooms has a patio door that opens to the fenced back yard. There is a cement patio area. You walk through the backyard to the off-street parking area. Parking spaces for two vehicles are provided. It is a side by side duplex of an older house on quiet bricked Vermont Street between 13th and 14th Street. It has private off street parking and a small private fenced yard that we mow. Spayed/neutered cats are welcome, as are small dogs under 40 pounds and over 2 years old welcome with pet rent and a pet deposit. References and security deposits are required. Financial Requirements: Each applicant must either earn 4x the entire rent (for the unit) in income from retirement, disability, and/or permanent employment, or applicant must have a Guarantor, who lives in the United States, and owns real estate in the United States. We must be able to verify that the Guarantor owns the property through the county where the real estate is located. All applicants must qualify on their own/independent of co-applicants (no applicant may share a Guarantor). Showings are by appointment only. M-F 10 AM thru 7PM. We do not show on Saturday and Sunday.
