An hour northwest of Minneapolis on Interstate 94, Saint Cloud is a charming small city on the banks of the Mississippi River. Saint Cloud State University is central to the community, both literally and figuratively: in addition to the 15,000 students enrolled, the university is one of the city’s biggest employers, and a dedicated fan base supports the school’s hockey program (the legendary Herb Brooks coached the Huskies back in the 1980s and his name now graces the Saint Cloud State hockey arena).
Just north of campus, Downtown is a charming riverside district with a strip of restaurants, bars, galleries, and performance venues along St. Germain Street. The city is home to over ninety public parks, ensuring that you’re never more than a few blocks from trails, lakes, and relaxing green spaces. For weekend excursions into the great outdoors, Saint Cloud is only a short drive away from Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge and Mille Lacs Lake.

Property Ratings at 134 Crossing
Nice, newer - younger crowd...not so friendly. Lots of smokers of all kinds - sucks if you like your windows open. I faced Ridgewood and it was loud - like a drag strip when the light turns green. Lots of truck traffic and ambulances on a regular basis. Manager is snarky - the best parts of this place is the dog wash, inside parking and the package concierge. If you have a dog be careful, lots of people do not follow rules or have socialized dogs.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the amenities. It's to bad that you didn't like any of the other residents or the manager. I find most of the residents to be very friendly. Yes there is traffic, but it is not that busy of a road. Smoking is allowed outside and if any dog owners were not following the rules, we would appreciate that being reported to the office so we can address it. Thank you for your feedback.
We looked at these apartments, yes they are nice but at the same time they are small for the amount of money they are charging. We decided to apply elsewhere.

Thank you for touring at 134 Crossing. We are sorry that our apartments did not meet your needs.
Upon the first tour, this apartment looks great. The counter tops look nice, there's a patio large enough for a chair or two, and the rooms are fair sized but after about a week or so living there, you start to notice things. Things that once you notice, you can't help but focus on. These include things like gaps behind the trim where the wall bows out a bit, the fact that the shower curtain rod is about 4 inches too high for even the longest curtain sold at Walmart, or that "USB Outlets" is more of an attention grabber because there's only two in the apartment and one is in a place where I never charge my phone. Then about two weeks in you're walking into the kitchen and get a stabbing pain in your heel! You look down at where you stepped, and lone behold the carpet doesn't fully reach the threshold, leaving spikes (that are suppose to hold the carpet in place) exposed. The foot stabbing is stopped following a work order to pound down the spikes, but the gap in the threshold remains. Lastly, the walls between apartments does seem to rather well insulated, however, you can hear everything that goes on in the main hallways. Doors shutting, kids running, and dogs barking are all noticeable at any time of day. This apartment complex has some potential, however, in my experience and the experience of several other tenants I have spoken with, there's many things that detract from it's overall excellence. Things that a free clubroom and a decent gym simply don't make up for.

I'm sorry you were not happy with your apartment. The granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances are features that we are very proud off. The USB outlets are located in the bedrooms and kitchen, where most residents do charge their phones. You did move into a brand new apartment, with that some things like a few carpet nails did get missed that we came back and fixed. There is a noise level that comes with living in every apartment complex and we have not experienced any higher level here than average or complaints from other residents. Thank you for your feedback.
