Living at 1350 N Lake Shore was such a great experience. I lived in two different units and both were great. If this place is in your budget, I highly suggest living here. Heroes was my leasing agent and was helpful from day one til the day I left.

Awful management along with subpar quality (for what you pay). They advertise themselves as a "Luxury" apartment but it is FAR from luxurious. The walls are insanely thin and sound travels very well through them. I could clearly hear my neighbor talking on the phone when I am in my bathroom. Not only that, but I could also hear him throughout the rest of my apartment, just not as clearly. Also, I, along with many of the other tenants in the building, have had several issues with mold.

This building’s main perk is the location. The views are great and it’s in a lovely neighborhood, but that is it. I lived at this property for approximately 9 years, in both a studio and 1-bedroom unit. The units themselves are spacious for the rental price, but the ambiance is one that resembles a college dormitory. The building’s community and ambiance declined with the property management change ~2016/2017. Unfortunately, the management company has struggled to incorporate the feedback of tenured residents which has resulted in those residents moving out. A promising management change took place in late 2019, but I opted to cut my losses and move-out given the deterioration of the responsiveness of the maintenance and management staff. Overall, the building is okay as long as you manage your expectations of what “luxury apartments” means at 1350 North Lake Shore Drive.

The doorstaff makes the experience living at 1350 amazing, they are the most friendly and personable team anywhere. The apartments and amenities are what leave a bit to be desired. The building is constantly under construction and very loud during the days with drilling and other maintenance. Management frequently will announce shutdowns of water for entire days with little or no notice and has had several issues with bed bugs.
Spacious apartments but facade work going on and they wouldn't tell you about their new project coming up right in front of the South building. The roof deck is really nice if you are lucky enough to find a seat and no way you can have the grill for yourself without sharing with others oh and residents somehow have their own personal events with at least 15-20 people at a time. Definitely not worth to pay that much where you can live at somewhere else bigger quieter and much better in the same area..
I have lived in the 1350 building for one year in a one bedroom. I love the apartment, and the space it provides. The closets are great and the VIEWS. I love the windows. The only reason I will not be resigning is there is construction one the exterior of the building for the next 2-3 years. Working night shift, I need to sleep during the day and that does not happen with the loud construction. If you will be gone during the week days, the construction should not be a problem at all. I really do love this place. The rooftop views are spectacular and the convenience store downstairs is a life saver.
This is my first apartment in the city and I absolutely love the location. Great views of the lake, a short walk to restaurants and bars, and a few blocks from Lincoln Park. This complex also accepts dogs up to 50lbs and has a dog park attached to the building. Great find and a wonderful place to live.
I moved to my first studio at 1360 N Lake Shore Dr and couldn't be happier. My unit number just happens to be 1610, which is appropriate because I think my apartment is a perfect 10!
This building is awesome! The building is made up of studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments. I'm in 1 of 5 offered studio layouts, and the layout seems perfect -- there is a breakfast bar separating my living area from my bed and kitchen. There is a separate hallway and dressing arrow when you walk in, which makes the space very livable. The building does a great job of keeping the common areas clean, and maintenance responds to requests quickly. The building is dog-friendly as well, if you have a furry friend. Amenities are insane, including not only an adequate fitness center, dry cleaner, 24 hour package delivery pickup AND an amazing rooftop deck with public grills, refrigerators, bar, fire pit and lots of seating (perfect for summertime in Chicago). The building is in the Gold Coast neighborhood in Chicago, and is right on Lake Michigan (EVERY SINGLE UNIT HAS SOME SORT OF LAKE VIEW!). There are countless restaurants close-by, and the shopping possibilities are endless. 1360 is close to several forms of public transportation, including the bus AND the "el" (train). I was hesitant about living in a studio and about living alone, but this building has made the transition easy and I honestly am very happy with my situation.
This is a great location to live. It is walking distance to both North Avenue beach and oak street beach. If u are a shopper, it's only a 10 minute walk to Watertower. The roof top is amazing and you can see the weekly fireworks at Navy Pier from most apartments. Have I mentioned the grocery store in th lobby?? They have everything you need which is very convenient during Chicago winters! The apartments are spacious with lots of closet space. I have loved living here and I definitely recommend!!
