Folks around the Bay Area most likely know Santa Clara as the location of Levi’s Stadium, home field for the San Francisco 49ers and host venue for college bowl games and various concerts. While the stadium has certainly redefined the city’s public image, the community retains a diverse palette of cultural offerings.
Like much of Silicon Valley, the tech sector is heavily represented in Santa Clara, and serves as one of the most prominent industries in town. The Triton and DeSaissit Museums bring unique art exhibits to the city, while attractions like California’s Great America and Central Park provide excellent opportunities for family-friendly outdoor fun. With San Jose right next door, the options for shopping, dining, and entertainment become nearly endless.

Property Ratings at 1369 Reeve St
When we first arrived there were cockroaches that were being bug bombed by the landlord (not a professional). During our first week we discovered rat droppings and holes chewed through various things. The land lord first didn't believe us and then thought that we brought them in and accused us. I discovered that it was living in a whole under the cabinets in the kitchen that connected to the plumbing crawl space. Thankfully things got better once we stopped needing the landlord's help. When ever something would go wrong in the apartments, we were sure to get an accusatory text. The water comes out cloudy and quite rusty, the repair over the years have been shoty leading to a decrepit patchy state of disrepair, the parking is tight, but the price was right. Good luck to anyone moving in. We hope you enjoy it. PS we could hear our upstairs neighbor having sex far too easily.
Loved everything about living here. Great price, location, unit. Most units have been remodeled and updated for a charming, spacious home. Great management. Very happy with my experience.
You know the saying "when you buy cheap, you get cheap?" Substitute rent for buy in the sentence, and you get this dilapidated building as your prize. The laundry room is always filthy, and management is more concerned about one particular tenant, who happens to be directly related, who wreaks havoc on all the residents from parking in inappropriate spots, to playing music and TV loud at all hours of the night, than trying to evict this person. Parking spots are abnormally tight, and if you have anything larger than a small four door sedan, you will be crossing your fingers that you can fit your car inside the allotted space without hitting the car parked next to you, or allowing yourself room to squeeze out when exiting your car. The apartments themselves are small, with no cross ventilation, no AC, along with poor insulation, which means extremely hot in the summer and extremely cold in the winter. The kitchen water is constantly and mysteriously cloudy, and the shower is filled with outdated, crappy fixtures that don't even spray the water effectively. The kitchen is too small, with counter space that can barely accommodate a dish rack and a microwave, and if you live downstairs, you will hear every movement of your upstairs neighbor. The trash receptacles aren't returned promptly after trash day, which means there are times you will need to walk all the way towards the driveway in the front of the building to empty your trash. One time, three days elapsed before the trash bins were returned to their rightful spots! If you invite friends, a word of warning; street parking is nonexistent. Your friends will have to park blocks away sometimes, since the street is filled with similar apartments with multiple residents, all of who have cars. Finally, a trio of surprises. One, you will need to pay for a mailbox key at the local post office to access your mailbox. I have lived in various apartments throughout my life, and have never had to deal with this expense. Second, Santa Clara is very "special". It's the only city that I have lived in where I have had to pay two utility bills; PG & E for gas, and Santa Clara Utilities for electricity because SC uses its own company. Finally, the only internet provider you can use is AT & T; for some reason the wiring only accommodates this company. DO.NOT.RENT.HERE!
