The office admin was very helpful and knowledgeable during the move in. Nice community atmosphere with a lot of responsible pet owners. The building feels clean and well kept.

Nice apartments and the building is in a good location. If you have a pool facing apartment, it can be slightly noisy in your apartment at times. Paying for a parking spot is worth it. Overall experience is decent.

Just moved here and am extremely happy with my decision. Front office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Nice amenities and responsive maintenance staff. Recommend to just about anybody.

Maintenance and the office staff have been exceptionally efficient! Everyone has been extremely kind, warm, and welcoming! Definitely looking forward to the next 14 months here!

I have really enjoyed living at 1400 Chestnut. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I haven't had any issues with parking, the pool, trash pickup, or any other services they offer. The only downside is that they don't always send you an email/alert when you get a package in the package room, so sometimes you don't realize you have something there for a day or two.

Great amenities! Wonderful and accommodating community/leasing staff. Generally very great. Love the access to Food City, restaurants, bars, and shopping. Can’t recommend more!

Great area! Love the fact that the grocery store is within walking distance of the residency. Everyone is nice and the staff are welcoming! Would recommend!

This place is great!! Everyone here very friendly and kind and you meet some awesome people in the building. I love how accommodating the managers are and willing to adhere or listen to your requests

The staff at 1400 Chestnut Apartments have been prompt and personable in assisting with all of my needs. I love the location of the building and my apartment was very clean and ready to move-in.

I like here, whenever I need a maintenance service, I get it immediately. One thing was bad, our apartment was not cleaned well before we moved in. Our neighbors are cheerful and very welcoming

I just moved in and the entire team at 1400 Chestnut have all been incredible! I have had all questions answered and maintenance is amazing - super fast and efficient!

My move in process was so quick and jade was so hands on and responded to all my questions so quickly. My apartment and my view is soooo pretty

A nice place to live! Now that we have food city in our back yard it’s even better. You can walk to restaurants, grocery store, also have a gym and pool a couple floors down.

I love my new home! It was definitely worth the wait! And I absolutely love the outdoor spaces! Absolutely amazing! I’m glad I chose to move here!

This apartment was my best option as I was moving to Chattanooga from out of state and they offered a variety of leasing periods, however their prices increased weekly and made the leasing process feel rushed and stressful when moving is stressful enough. My advice would be to read the lease throughly before signing because they also require a 60 day move out notice. Was not aware that there would be no free parking (100$ to park in the garage). Neighborhood is ok, close to fire station so you will hear fire trucks constantly. The chicken factory can be stinky in the summer. Otherwise you are very close to everything and within 2 miles of downtown (frequently walk to coffee shops/ restaurants). Also right next to the brand new Food City which is a great perk if you need groceries.

Perfect location. Right next door to food city is extremely convenient. Walking distance to all kinds of great places. Very quiet and calm living.

1400 is a great building with a lively community that is friendly, fun and respectful. Staff members are friendly and maintenance is responsive.

I have loved living her for three years! This apartment is super to everything and now has a grocery store in our backyard which is convenient.

Everyone is nice. A few mixups regarding the actual apartment and some delayed responses but overall pretty good. Actual apartments are very pretty

This place is awesome! Maintanence is super quick if there’s something wrong. The office staff also responds quick. Location is great and amenities are sweet!

So I come home from work early today and cannot park in the parking spot in the garage that I pay $100 a month for. My lease states that this agreement gives me 24/7 parking rights. It does not say that the apartment maintenance guy has permission to park in my spot M-F from 9-5. I should be refunded 50% of what I have been paying due to the fact that they have been using my spot, come to find out, since October of 2023. When my wife and I confronted the management team that has been allowing this they assured me that they would find him another spot to park in. I think this is totally dishonest and ridiculous business practices and I will be looking for my refund or credit...

Great place to live! Convenient to tons of place and now even has a grocery store in walking distance which is amazing. They have all the amenities you need pool, gym, parking garage, etc.

The front office staff is so sweet and helpful. The property is well kept and nice. I have a one bedroom but the layout of it makes it feel very spacious.

Everything is super clean all the time. Leasing staff is extremely helpful. The pool courtyard brings a friendly and fun environment. There are many walkable food locations

Great complex. Maintenance service is great, valet trash is a plus, and the pool/grill area is great for the summer. I look forward to renewing my lease.

We have really enjoyed our temporary stay here in Chattanooga. There are a lot of options here in the city and we can say we aren't disappointed. We look forward to the amenities this summer and really like the convenience of the nearby shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

Great location and amenities! Living here you are able to walk to many places for dinner, events, etc. and have easy access to other places because you are right near the on ramps.

The apartment community is very welcoming and home like. Everyone you meet is very friendly and easy to talk to. The amenities here make it easy to make new friends or enjoy your own personal time if wanted! The location is very convenient with great new places to try!

Moving in on 4/3 was a breeze thanks to the exceptional assistance from the leasing office staff. Their helpful reminders and guidance made navigating the beautiful building a delight. Grateful for such a smooth transition!

So far so good! Staff is very friendly an the apartment seems clean. My windows and bedroom carpet have some installation issues but that hopefully wont take much to fix

Great place to live! I’m going on my third year here and they have worked with me every year resigning my lease. Maintenance is always on top of things and fixes my issue day of the request. Staff is working to better amenities in the gym which I appreciate as well!

I love the area and amenities, and how close we are to the downtown area! It makes it easier to be apart of the activities and trying new surrounding restaurants.

Good place to live. Neighbor’s are friendly and considerate. Location is a big plus and the parking is good as well. Extra parking is easy and fairly close for family and or friends.

Enjoying 1400 Chestnut. Have ground floor street side apartment. Cant hear our neighbors from any apartments above or next to us. Love having the gated parking garage.

We are tired of walking down the hallways only to be overwhelmed by the smell of rotten garbage. Management does not enforce their policies on the valet garbage services. The same people put their garbage out Friday afternoon and it sits in the hallway until Sunday night. By the time it gets taken down the whole hallway smells like rotten garbage. Also beware of the hidden fees that they do not mention at first. The garage is always flooded due to a water leak that they will not fix. They add this cost of the water to the common areas and make the residents pay. Our rent is nearly $150 more per month than what was agreed upon at the signing of the lease. Make sure you ask these questions before signing the dotted line!

A welcoming community with great amenities. Friendly faces all around! Great location, easily walkable to downtown and great restaurants. Move in process was easy. The apartment has a warm homey feel to it that we love!

We took residency in December 2023 with high expectations for 1400 Chestnut based on the smooth leasing process. Every expectation has been exceeded. We are happy campers and grateful to the excellent staff for their responsiveness and professionalism and for keeping the entire facility in tip-top shape!

This apartment is a great place to live! It is welcoming, the community here is kind, and the facilities are wonderful! We are also in a great part of town so it is super convenient to get around. We feel safe here and well taken care of!

Great location, super close to Main Street and many restaurants and stores. Perfect place to live if you love being able to walk everywhere!

I would like to see a cleaner facility. Stairways, elevators and garbage areas are terrible. The staff needs to enforce the no smoking rules. The smell of illegal marihuana is ridiculous on all floors.

Everyone seems friendly and engaging. Set up to be a community within the community. In the heart of activities. Plenty of parking areas. Easy access to interstate.
