Staff are always friendly, the property is well maintained and kept clean, pool area and courtyard are nice, maintenance requests are fulfilled quickly. Residents are friendly. Cons: -Thin walls which seems to be the norm now with newish buildings. Sometimes have to sleep on the couch. -People driving too fast inside the parking garage and the turns never seem wide enough to accommodate two vehicles passing each other at the same time, so always paranoid about getting hit every time I see someone coming around the corner. -No functioning buzzer system to let guests in, which requires one to walk downstairs.

Residents are friendly for the most part. Cons: -Thin walls which seems to be the norm with newish buildings. -People driving too fast through the parking garage and the garage doesnāt seem wide enough around the turns to accommodate all of the SUVs and trucks in todayās world, so always paranoid about getting hit when someone comes around the corner. -No functioning buzzer system to let guests in.
1400 main is a very nice apartment complex with great amenities. For example, the gym has all the necessary equipment to get a great workout. The complex is very clean and the management responds to any maintenance request. They even do jobs outside of their scope as in helping move furniture in or out of an apartment unit. The community is quiet, safe and located in a great area close to the highway and shopping area.
This is a beautiful property with awesome amenities. The staff is phenomenal and a real pleasure. Since AJH Management took over the property in June, there have been great changes for the better. The staff is so creative and always coming up with new things ideas to do for the residents. The resident events are really fun and exciting!

Hi, Thank you for the 5 start review! we are happy to see we are meeting and even possibly exceeding your apartment living expectations.
If I could give a negative 5, I would. This is the most unprofessional and disrespectful housing community I have ever encountered. I just relocated from Florida (currently having to stay in a hotel) although I signed my lease last week on 3/25/19 and the lease started on 3/31/19 because the office is not producing my apartment keys. When asked when they will be able to produce them, they are unsure. I asked for them to prorate my rent until my keys are available, and they stated no that they would not. The property manager Shay, said she will let me into and out of the apartment with her permission and access until they have keys made but only can do so every couple of hours so that she is not inconvenienced. Imagine that? Me inconveniencing them to GET ACCESS TO AN APARTMENT THAT I'M CURRENTLY PAYING FOR. Sounds about right. They are not following through with the terms of the lease agreement and won't prorate me and/or let me find alternative housing and cancel my lease. I highly recommend you do not live here. This is the worst experience I have ever had.
On a 6-month lease at this loacaiton. The units themselves are great. However, be ready for the fire alarm to go off any time (according to management explanation) if it rains, temperatures fluctuate, ice melts or itās a day that ends in āYā. The management staff is easily able to send out an email following one of these alarms blaming it on an issue that was the āfixedā or āresolvedā culprit of the previous alarm. Residents here pay a premium to live in a luxury community that should have issues like this sorted out. The one time an alorm went off that was of use was due to a gas leak in an apartment. Oh, an apartment that had been broken into and vandalized, causing the leak. We also pay for secured entry... supposedly. Bottom line is that alarms will go off at minimum once a week and usually between the hours of 10:30pm-9:00am. The lackadaisical attitude of management is the most disappointing part of it all. There is a simple āSorryā email that seems to be all they can do. I will say that the maintenance staff here is great. That is truly one of the great positives about this place. If you have any issue, simply enter it into the Resident Portal and you can expect the matter to be taken care of, in most cases, in less than 24 hours.
This building has a lot of new construction problems, that management turns a blind eye to. There is mold forming on the ground floors, that all management has done is paint over it. They have threatened to sue a few of the tenants, blaming them for the new construction issues, stating it is abuse. Tenants have complained about some of the workers entering their apartments while they are gone through the day and missing possessions. Staff have broken off mirrors of vehicles in the parking garage while moving equipment around, and say it is the owners fault for using the parking spaces designate for residents. Staff has been found to share personal information of tenants while gossiping to other tenants, like income, financial situations, credit history etc. Materials in the units look nice on photos, but are cheap and hollow. Floors are laminate, and warp with minimal use. You can hear water flowing through the walls when your neighbor flushes their toilet. If you like to hear your neighbors TV, conversations, intimate moments, or arguments, and like yours heard to, then everyone will know one another's business. Fire alarms go off constantly, management cannot with proof state the system actually works like how it should. They state the pool is heated and open all year round, except they stop maintaining and cleaning it after labor day. Hot tub only works a few days a week. Stay away from this place. I've lived here a year and was so happy when I left.
