1401 S. State have some of the best staff I have every had. Made moving to Chicago a breeze!

It’s our first month in the building and so far we love it. Friendly staff, quiet building, nice layout.

We love the staff and the residents here at 1401. Everyone is very kind, helpful and responsive to our questions and needs.

I've lived at 1401 S State Apartments for over 6 years. In that time, management, amenities and safety/security have deteriorated. In the past year some improvements were starting to be made, but current decisions onsite have started to show more of a downslide. Serious concern over the utility costs and how the costs and usage are managed.

Honestly 1401 S. State is the most straightforward, no nonsense, genuine rental property that I’ve ever had the pleasure of renting from. Love the neighbors, love the location and love love the management.

Compared to other modern apartment buildings, all the apartments are larger when compared to other buildings, including studios, 1BR, 2BR and penthouse units.

I love my home and my view!! I love the bldg is so quiet peaceful and the staff is so friendly and helpful!! Both Emily and Angela went above and beyond to make sure my move went smoothly!! I truly appreciate them!! They are Gems!!!

Been really enjoying my stay and any help that I receive from maintenance has been top-tier!

The views are amazing, and the building is in a very convenient location. The staff is helpful and maintenance resolves our work orders quickly.

We’ve only been here for almost 2 weeks and I love that the neighbors are so friendly and the building is dog friendly, which is a huge plus for us! It feels good to call this place home.

1401 has beautiful good sized units. Many of them have amazing views. The location is close to everything but much quieter than the loop. The management and maintenance seem to be on top of everything. Any issues we have had were dealt with quickly. I would definitely reccomend to anyone looking downtown.

The 1401 S State Apartments is actually a nice building. I stay in the corner unit, so i have this 360 View which so beautiful both in the day and at Night. I' m not sure if it was a complete miss from the Apartment but when it was time for my move-in, the unit was not prepped for my arrival. The place still looked like how i came to veiw it, it wasn't cleaned, a couple of the appliances were't working but on the bright side the maintenance crew were prettty swift in responding to your requests well most of the time. Overall great apartment, but my apartment wasnt prepped for my habitation at the time of my move-in.

Great building to live in. I’ve had no issues with my apartment and the issues I did have, maintenance came to correct right away. Great and friendly environment. Love how pet friendly it is as well for our furry friends:)

Whatever you do do not rent on the 4th floor. The gym is located on the 4th floor and has zero sound proofing you will here weights being dropped at all hours. It is extremely loud and nothing a normal person could get used to or sleep through. I can wear headphones with loud music and still here the noise. Not sure if you can here the gym on higher levels. They charge a fee to move appointments. Walls are paper thin too.

I love the building so far. Jacob has been a tremendous help. I was very nervous moving by myself for the first time but he streamlined the process.

1401 State St continues to be my forever home. The amenities and location are spot on. All staff members are incredible. No place like home!

I have enjoyed living here thus far. The management , cleaning and maintenance team have been very kind, helpful, and also take car of any issues that come up. I truly appreciate that!

1401 S. State is a great place to live. I love that the apartment itself is small, making it easier to know staff and management.

I've resided here for 3 years. My excitement and enthusiasm remains the same. Julie and Jacob are to be commended. I remember when Jacob started he seemed shy and quiet. Now he seems assured and confident. This has to be in part due to good leadership. I also love the security team, Don, Tyler and Terrance. The issues here are always handled timely. Location is spot on and close to everything. There's no place like home!

1401 S State is a luxury building that is affordable in a nice area in the south loop. Would recommend to anyone looking to live in the city and have a luxury feel, floor-to-ceiling window views with top notch service.

Luxury apartments that make you feel right at home.

The apartments at 1401 S State are very spacious for the renting price. The views are fantastic and it's close to CTA, grocery, Target, and Grant Park. I look forward to coming home everyday after work and enjoying my apartment!

140 S State is fantastic apartment and a location for those who was to feel like they are right in downtown while also feeling like things are still residential. Very good access to the rest of the city, love this apartment!

I moved to Chicago for a job and never got a chance to see the apartment before moving in. The staff at 1401 S. State made the leasing process easy from a distance. The maintenance team is phenomenal!

I've been at 1401 for 3 years and it continues to feel like home every day. From the staff knowing you by name to a beautiful apartment with incredible views and in a location where I can walk to work and all other necessities, it's been a great place to call home.

The community and staff is great! Jeff, Julia and Jacob take great care of us and are always friendly. We appreciate everyone that keeps this building in top top shape.

Beautiful views and great layouts. Tons of space for a unit in the city. Friendly and helpful staff and very pet friendly. The street its on is a negative regarding safety, gps navigation, wind and proximity to stores. Paper thin walls so you can hear everything next door and in the hallway.

1401 is a gem in tje South Loop. The central location to everything makes 1401 standout amongst the rest.
