Repairs? Nah. Leak? Nah. Worn out door screens? Nah. Any kind of repairs? Nah. Clean area? Nah. I would not recommend this place even to my worse enemy.
I have lived in this building for a few years now and I can concur that this building has a severe roach problem. Within a month of moving in, I discovered roaches in my bathroom. The old apt mgr scheduled an exterminator and I hadn't seen them until about a year later or so later. These are the large American cockroaches and they are increasing every year. They seem to live in the walls and in the piping. I have requested an exterminator several times and the manager ignores my request. Also, their repairmen do terrible jobs and often have to come back several times to complete the repair, correctly. Most times they do not used licensed or bonded workers. Do yourself and a favor and walk away quickly!
We have been asking for new windows for 3 years now. The windows are falling apart, air comes in through the cracks, etc. Instead they re painted the building recently and made the building look like it has new windows and it's been updated. DONT BE FOOLED. They jus painted what looks like to be new windows but they did not replace ANYTHING, just a paint job. Building is falling apart.
If I had the money I would leave this place quick fast and in a hurry. Water leaks on roof since 2016 with NO repairs made. The past previous rains multiple tenants have had severe water damage and they refuse to do a mold inspection. The common areas are filthy, the parking is completely unfair.
I have lived here twenty years. The units are large and the location is central to everything. However the management company is not very good about taking care of problems. They try. They just don't seem to have the expertise. My roof has leaked for six years. Every year they try to repair it and they fail. Now there's a stain on the ceiling which means that when it rains there's going to be a problem. At the beginning of summer the pool was so dirty that the Health Department had to be called to close it down (which they did) before the building took action. We also have roaches. Really bad and for months. Again the management company is very slow to solve the problem. Often trash is not picked up on schedule. The common area are disgusting. One of the people who lives here has taken over the planters, because the building just left them filled with only dirt, or we would have no greenery inside the building. Do yourself a favor. Don't move in until they fix up this place.
