I live here. Beware of men's shelter next door

I've only lived here for 3 months. I do love my apartment, I keep it immaculate and I've been doing everything I possibly can to get rid of mice problems. 2 hired exterminators and lots of mousetraps covering holes that were left irresponsibility from whomever put in the sink counter. They are only coming from behind the stove now and it is still a work in progress. Neighbors blast music loudly and are very inconsiderate! Domestic violence couple on the 2nd floor, it's very bad. There are 4 apartments for shelter clients. One day I walked in the building and two young men were smoking marijuana in the lobby, not even hiding. I've only seen that once. Some of the neighbors are friends with the men from the shelter next door and frequently let them in the building. That is a big concern for me. My apartment buzzer is frequently ringing from people begging to be let in. Once in a while I'll get a knock on the door from some strange man. I'll never open. Floors used to be cleaned and mopped my first month but not anymore. It is generally a well maintained building, has potential to be a much more healthy environment and there are cameras on each floor and outside the building. My experience with the super had been really good. He is a very short man and a hardworker. However he can be a little slow to get things done.

The worst

I have lived in this building for over ten years this is the worst building you could ever live in.The super does not do anything.You can call management the phone will just ring, leave a message if you want to waste your time.It isn't getting done.The tenant below us blasts music all day all night that's the norm.I tried to complain about that now they hang up on me every time I say my name.They just care about outside appearances.They put an awning and keep the garbage organized.The hallway is never mopped.No apartments are repaired except the ones that are shelter apartments and there is a men's shelter next door at 1530 Beach Ave.
