Property Ratings at 16 EVERGREEN AVENUE
Had multiple issues with heating and hot water and the building itself. Management only ever did something when I called in an inspector from the city. Heat works but doesn't stay in the apartments because of horrible insulation, feel like I'm heating out of the windows. Apartment is basically cold. Management won't let me break my ease early, threatened to withhold my security deposit and intimidated me. Those issues make the unit uninhabitable. Considering going to court. Other than that it smells of weed everywhere, the place is not properly maintained and dirty. Very disappointed!
Do yourself a favor and avoid moving here. I moved in with a promise of gym and laundry “by next week”... They ended up installing the laundry 6 months later and the gym was never installed. Multiple apartments had leaks that caused mold and they did nothing for weeks. Management will go as far as ignoring your calls and emails to avoid the situation. They’ll give you headaches every other week and NEVER reimburse ANY money for things that where their fault. (Example, no heating for a week). So summary, don’t move here, management is horrible and property owners are even worse. Don’t be deceived by these photos.
They management company is HORRIBLE no one in the leasing office knows what they are doing. The GM Kevin is rude, and will blow you off when it comes down to issues in your unit. The owner Jacob will never speak to you even if you call and leave messages. The maintenance workers have told me that this company knows about ALL of the plumbing issues in this building but yet they act as if its new to their tenants. We didn’t have heat and hot water in our unit for almost A MONTH! And they told us they weren’t giving any type pf reimbursement. They try to trap you with “brand new amenities “ and so called “renovated apartments” just for you to sign the lease and realize there are deeper rooted issues you cant physically see until you move in after signing the lease! Thank me later! Do NOT MOVE HERE!
